Try setting it via rules on initialization and it will show you the current date.

Also Madan , the if(node!=null) just does not work well with when statement if we have when(node)thenreturn null

Thanks @Madhur-Madan  the only missing piece is the methods that get invoked modified , deactivate , remove scheduler add scheduler etc . Also how do we get both paths checked if condition is if(node!=null) in mockito? It says one path is missing
