Using core component forms, i noticed i could add a custom expression for a use case where i want only month and year to be entered on the date field or use the popup calendar widget to select month year, but noticed
Setting expression to YYYY/mm
1. when you use the calendar popup widget it shows date as well that i want to avoid
2. it allows user to enter values in the format in the field but if there was a value set via widget, what is keyed in by the user into the field is overridden by the value from the calendar popup widget
3. The value sent as part of submit contains date as well2028-05-01 since widget allows user to enter date vs 2028/Mar
4. Notice the weird calendar widget compared to the normal widget
