Root Path Picker in Coral UI 3 for AEM Console Interfaces

In looking through the CoralUI 3 documentation Home | CoralUI there doesn't appear to be any OOTB component that allows a user to pick a path within the AEM JCR repository. I looked through some of code used for ACS Commons and it looks like they either just put in a generic Text Field and as the user to enter the path such as /content/#####/#### or they use an older ExtJS widget which is built for the ClassicUI.So are there any examples out there of using such a Widget or Component in Touch UI ...

Garurav thank you pointing me to that post, I must have missed it when searching the forums before. By adding the following permissions as outlined in that article I could edit and delete existing annotations but I wasn't able to create new ones because the cq:annotations node didn't exist yet.I was able to fix this by adding the following permission. I can now create the annotations as well with my test account but not edit the elements on the page which is what I was looking for.Elements Added...

Metadata Schema - Mapping Field to Multiple Properties
Avatar

It seems as though the Metadata field setup, specifically Title so far, is different from a general asset (file) and a content fragment. For a regular asset the mapping is ./jcr:content/metadata/dc:title and for a content fragment it is ./jcr:content/jcr:title. Is there a way to have one Schema with field mappings to two different locations so that the same Schema can be used for both regular assets and content fragments or do we need to maintain separate Metadata Schemas for the two entities ev...

Yes! Thank you that's it. So is there some section within the UI that this should be changed like a Configuration setting, or is this a manual update that would need to be made on that /content/experience-fragments on the Authoring server via CRXDE?

Thank you for the video but that's not what I was asking about. That shows how to use an Experience Fragment on a template which isn't the problem. How do you create a new Experience Fragment Template Variation? Here's the flow through the UI to help try to explain this better.1. Log into AEM2. Go to Navigation > Experience Fragments3. Create a folder, or go into an existing folder.4. Create > Experience Fragment5. Enter a Title for the fragment6. On the next screen listed as First Variant there ...

No. What I'd like to do is create a new Experience Fragment Template/Variation for my application. So when I create a new XF I can pick my Variant after entering the title.Right now when I create my XF and enter a title then continue to the First Variant screen there is the We.Retail Web Variation variant, along with an HTML 5, Pinterest and Facebook variants. So how can I create my own variants and place them in my own applications folder structure so they're part of that application code base a...

I've been rewalking through all the online Template Editor and Experience Fragment (XF) documentation but I must be missing something because I can't seem to make a new XF Template, that is stored under my own project show up properly in the interface for use.I can take the same template and copy it under the We.Retail project and it shows up just fine after I rename it, but as soon as I move it into my own project it won't show up. I've tried this with a copy of the We.Retail example XF Fragmen...

I've been looking around and figured I'd ask the collective knowledge base here on the best way to add a CF to a Custom Component for AEM 6.3.Is it better to the proxy the WCM Core Component Extension CF then just copy/extend it's dialog etc.. or is it better to dam/cfm/components/cfpicker to a dialog and just customize how the CF itself is then displayed in the component? Or better yet is there some way to reference the entire CF dialog as a reference within my current component dialog? Also if ...

Which package are you specifically referring to? I follow the instructions and the card component works just fine. I was creating a brand new component from scratch and when I drag it onto my WKND Article template it doesn't show any title by default when it's empty. For instance when you drag the Card or any other component on it says the components name/title. I wanted to know exactly where this is set/pulls from to ensure my new component was configured correctly.

Is it possible, when activating a page via a Workflow, create a version but use a custom Label and Description? By default my understanding is that when you run a page through a Workflow and Activate the page then a version is automatically created but auto increments the version label (#) and doesn't allow adding a custom description for the label.

I followed the directions directly on this page Creating and Configuring Asset Share and Asset Editor pages and pointed it to existing Assets under Geometrixx to test them. So in AEM 6.1 the only account we have that can create a new project within the TouchUI interface is our admin account. We have an administrators group that has full system access to everything, but they're not able to create a new Project. How exactly do we give them this same level of access? Our administrators group has already been setup in the OSGi Apache Sling Web Console Security Prodiver configuration as well.

What is the recommended approach to replicate say a header/footer that currently displays today in AEM 6.1? Are we looking at needing to interface with the repository itself to pull out the node content and generate our own page in the other system?Caveat: We don't currently use Dispatcher so utilizing their statically generated .html pages isn't an option.
