Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. in regards to comment #2: How can we apply the recalculation of typology rules during the send out? That's what I would like to implement, however when going through the available configurations in typology rules I don't see that option. Thank you.

Hello, I would like to know if there is a way to apply filtering rules during sending? i am noticing when i am doing a pre-run we have a 'clean' list with no blacklist recipients but when i come to check the day after the newsletter has gone out I'm seeing that some recipients have blacklisted us since our last pre-run 9 hours before..is this a common problem?

Hello, I have a question that would seem rather simple but I cannot figure it out. I have a WF that sends an email followed by a 5-minute wait activity, after that, I have a split that identifies if an email was opened or not. if opened send another email if not opened do nothing. The workflow is running but I do get at least one or more deadlocks a day. so im constantly having to go back and start them up again. we do have message center set up on our dev environment. but I'm not very sure how to use it. it seems like we may be able to get some good use out of it, but the examples I found online weren't very useful.

How would I check to see if there is a record or not using the test activity? I like this idea as I was thinking to myself, not every cycle will have a result. so if there are no results this time 'end' query. but when I select conditions under the test activity not sure what field to use?Thanks!

Hello all! I would like to know the best method to go about implementing a Test activity to 4 of my technical workflows. I currently have 4 different workflows (one for each Newsletter subscription type, health, pets, etc) When they run I sometimes get deadlocks and my workflow fails. I figured if I put a 'Test' activity right after my scheduler to check if any of the other 3 workflows are currently running to try again later would help solve this issue?is there a way about implementing this? Thank you for your prompt reply. I removed the additional 'recipient delivery log exist' line and ran it again, but no dice. the query is staying in limbo with the gear at the top running. Like you mentioned the query regarding the event date seems correct. in fact, when I hard code the dates I get the recipient population I'm looking for. this only happens when I try using a function.

Hello, I'm trying to create a query that will look at the event date of a recipient who received a Welcome Email but did not open it in the last 24 hours. For example on 8/14 I want to send another email to recipients who were sent the first email on 8/13 but did not open it. I'm having a problem with calculating the event date. If I hardcode the date I can get it to work. but when I use 'current date minus n days' the query just spins and doesn't produce a result.any ideas? Thank you!
