How can I force a workflow to occur on all assets within a folder? There
are a large number of assets that did not process (Asset Creation
Workflow) and it is impractical to force a work flow one by one.
Using the desktop app, I am receiving the following after successful

Thanks for the reply. I am aware of the sorting feature in List View.
This requires that a user manually sort every time he opens the folder.I
was referring to setting a default. In other words, a way to select the
default sorting behavior for files/folders across the entire DAM. Does
such a thing exist?
Thanks for the reply. You are absolutely correct that the only change for
a published asset would be the hostname/port. I'm asking mainly for
authors/content producers that may not be familiar or even care about
the AEM system stack. In other words, if a content producer uploads an
asset, publishes it, and wants a direct link to the file there doesn't
seem to be a way to pull it in the UI.
Is there a way to view the URL/link to a published asset from the
author? In other words, I am after the URL of the asset on the publisher.
I know there are ways of sharing assets, generating URL's and embed
code. However, none of them link to the raw file on the publisher.
The errors I am getting in chrome web console are actually:test2.mp4:1

Thank you very much for the reply.I'm curious now, can you test this the
link in a non-aem-authenticated tab/window (i.e. incognito tab)? I've
authenticated to aem. This use case would be for an external user.
When a video is shared via the "Link Share" feature the video fails to
load in chrome. If the whitespace is clicked the video loads and plays.
In firefox the video preview does load. However, intermittently the play
button does not load. Is this expected behavior?
Any multi-page PDF that I upload to the DAM does not generate sub assets
and the PDF has no page viewer available as referenced here: Managing
Compound Assets Is there a prequisite to this? It seems to be part of
the DAM Update Asset Workflow. Any help would be appreciated.
I am attempting to set up a regularly occurring schedule for backing up
a large amount of AEM assets. The size is roughly 10-20TB. Filesystem
snapshots are not available.I found this recommendation: Large AEM 6.3
DAM Assets Best Backup Practices Frankly it seems like there is likely a
better answer. What is the Adobe best practice for this?
