AEM version : 6.5I have created a proxy component for the OOTB Carousel
Component. Now I have defined a custom parameter or a field in the
cq:design_dialog. ( as shown in image given below ) Now i have authored
the aforementioned parameters by editing the component policy as shown
belowNow after saving this , Its stored as follows ( Please refer below
image )How do i access this particular property programmatically ?I did
created a sling model as given below And i am trying to access the same
So i was experimenting with an apache rewrite ruleto redirect from
/en-in/holidays/destinations/about-xyz/xyz-packages Here is rewrite rule
which i made RewriteRule ^/en-in/holidays/destinations/(.*)-packages
/en-in/holidays/destinations/about-$1/$1-packages [R=301,L] Correct me
if i am wrong , i am under the impression that $1 would be the captured
string of (.*)But the rewrite rule isn't behaving as its supposed to

Referring to two articles provided in the forum , I tried to integrate
Custom MultiField Component with a Custom Carousel Component.Where the
multifield component is used to add 'N' number of image paths which will
be subsequently used in the Custom Carousel Component.Following is my

Is there any OOTB working carousel component present in AEM which we

so you mean, i have to create clientlib folder under my custom component
and have the css file under that client lib folder and add a property
called cq.authoring.dialog under clientlib , then css will be reflected
in dialog box ?
If author go about & consequently modified the policies to add couple of
additional allowed components , is there any way to restrict (except for
one component) addition of others by displaying a popup mentioning that
" This component could not be added " ??or is my approach wrong ?Also it
would have been helpful to know , where the policies are stored ?
In AEM 6.3, is there any way to restrict the author to a single allowed
component ?or if i create a policy , is there any way to lock the policy
so that author doesn't go about and add further allowed components ??
