THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I was successful. The one challenge is I only needed to create a row in Table B based on specific conditions. The instanceManager was the ticket.Below is my sample code if anyone needs similar assistance. var i =Assessment.Page7.Summary.LTCSummary.TableThird.Row1.instanceManager.count if(xfa.resolveNode("Assessment.Page2.ServiceSummary.LTCSub.TableFirst.Row1["+ this.parent.index +"]").LTC1.rawValue == 'Yes' && xfa.resolveNode("Assessment.Page2.ServiceSummary.LTCSub.TableFirs...

I'm currently using ES4. I have users entering data from another tool and I take that data in an XML format and map to an Adobe Livecycle form. The users are entering data into a dynamic table and that is then populated onto a dynamic table in the form. All of that works fine. Data is correctly populated into rows and columns dynamically. What I need to do though, is take data from that table and populate a summary on the last page of the form with contents from the earlier without prompting the ...

My question is related to dynamic forms and the ability to utilize the fill & sign capability with a drawn/scribble signature. It is required in our organization to retrieve a scribble signature on a form vs. an electronic digital signature. I know with Dynamic forms the only way I can get this to work is by having the user Print the form using ADOBE PDF, which saves the form in a format where "fill & sign" can be used to draw a signature. Unfortunately this causes a number of extra steps for our...

SUCCESS! Wanted to let folks know I resolved my problem in the event this happens to any of you out there!By putting in the app.alert (so simple!) I could identify the script was not triggering where I had it in the form. I moved up the script to occur right after the WaiverType was populated by the application - using the FORM READY event. Thanks Magus069!

Thanks so much for your reply.I've added in the app.alert . I put it right after the WaiverType object on the event "form ready". When I execute the form I get TWO alerts - the first value is NULL and the second value shows correctly. Why is it displaying it twice when I only have the app.alert in one spot? I attempted to put in the app.alert for the 5 subforms on all 3 events as I noted in my first post - but it never even hits those app.alerts.Any guidance is appreciated.

Hello!I have searched multiple forums and tried all the hints; yet I still am struggling.Form is Dynamic and Flowed; however all the data is populated into the form based on mapped values from an XML. Users are entering data in an application and once complete the user generates the data into the form I've built. So all the data is imported into the form via XML.I have 5 subforms and only 1 should display based on the value of an object populated by the XML Mapping. The object value name is Waive...

I have loaded a data connection to my form as XML. I'm using a check-box to set the check based on a value which is a long sentence. I've done this type of form several times using the On Value functionality; however, with this long text field it is not working. Is there a limit to the "On Value" function in terms of text feeding from an XML?

Hello,I am utilizing Livecycle Designer ES4I have reviewed all online help as well as subform snippets related to hiding table subforms based on a data object. (the movie/category example). Yet, I'm still struggling. Here is the scenario. My form is a dynamic flowed form but read-only? Why? Because I have data feeding from another source via XML that I have binded to the form so there is no need for data entry into the form.I have one section of the form which has 5 separate tables - each in the...
