Good morning all Guru'sI created a form in life cycle designer. Entry form with different field that need to be send. Then publish the form as PDF, and I can open the form and use in Adobe.However when done I do NOT want people to save the form with the added data. The form must ONLY be allowed to be SAVED AS. Therefore I want the master form to always remain with blank fields. Currenly when I close the pdf it ask me if I would like to save and if I then save the form all the fields data entered...

Cannot submit forms after upgrade to windows7 - Adobe LiveCycle 18-06-2012
On XP I could submit forms direct from lifecycle designer when testing documents. We have changed to windows 7 over the weekend.This morning I find that I cannot submit forms after changing over to windows7. Never had a problem, so it is definately not Adobe that went lobsided now.Obviously this must be a setting in windows 7 and not a problem in Adobe as that is the only change that occured, but maybe someone else have had the problem and might shed light for me on what need to be done to get A...

Niallafter some more investigating I found something that will clear this. form1.ListSAPApplication.clearItems();Never thought about a "clear", was struggling with reset etc..Thank you so much for your help.

Thank you Nialllet me find a site where I can upload the form. any recommendations for sites you normally use.In the mean time I will spend some more time on this and see where I am missing the plot..Much appreciated

Thanks NiallI already have a reset button added to my form to clear everything completely and do use the following script xfa.host.resetData();The "reset" button do clear all normal data fields but even the RESET button do not clear the data entered into a text field from a drop down selection.I can delete one item at a time by selecting the value and then click remove.I want to add another button that say "Remove All" and then all the values selected must be removed from this text field.the current script for "Remo...

I have dropdown box with list of predifined items, from which I can select items into a text field with an add and remove buttons. these all work very nice.Currently I have to remove one by one item incase I made some wrong selections via the remove button. I have a drop down selection list and items can be added from the drop down list into a textbox as multiple items. (this all work fine)When I email the form as PDF then all the other field values is saved except the values entered into the textbox selected from the dropdownlist.How can I get these values to be saved into the PDF so that these values dont dissapear.Thank you kindly for any tips to get this working so that when the form is emailed the values selected do go with the form

I found another piece of code on the site here related to something else and from that I tried somthing simmilar and now it work. if (form1.DropDownWindowsUser.rawValue == "New"){ if (form1.CheckLeftHanded.rawValue == 0 && form1.CheckRightHanded.rawValue == 0 ){ error = true; error_string = error_string + ": Under section NEW USER DETAILS, please select Desktop or Notebook user checkbox. "; }}basically I check if both check box values are zero, then issue a warning. So it is working this way.
