Selections from drop down box into text box is not saved when PDF is saved/emailed

I have a drop down selection list and items can be added from the drop down list into a textbox as multiple items. (this all work fine)

When I email the form as PDF then all the other field values is saved except the values entered into the textbox selected from the dropdownlist.

How can I get these values to be saved into the PDF so that these values dont dissapear.

Thank you kindly for any tips to get this working so that when the form is emailed the values selected do go with the form

...make sure that in the File > Form Properties > Defaults tab, that the Preserve Script Changes is set to Automatic.
