Re: How to update chart numbers to reflect most recent data Chris_Leyland - Adobe Analytics
Hi Yakhtar, So using your calculated time periods, you could generate a table that looks like the below; So rather than the week breakdown in your table, meaning that you need to go update the cell your summary visualisation is pointing at, you can just point your summary number vis at the visits from "this week" (calculated date period to show the last 7 days, rolling), then do your summary comparison vis showing the difference between "last week" (calculated date period to show the last 15 days...

Re: Segment population - quick check Chris_Leyland - Adobe Analytics
No worries! So regarding pageviews, this would be the same logic, given that anything in segment A is in segment B, this means that every pageview from each visit in segment A would also be in segment B, with any additional pageviews from visits that are in segment B. Meaning that in theory the number of pageviews in segment B (OR statment) should always be higher than segment A (AND statement). This is all based on the hypothesis that anything in segment A, is also in segment B- you could test t...

Re: Date comparision for summary number in workspace report Chris_Leyland - Adobe Analytics
Hi,Could you not use a summary change visualisation? This would allow you to bring in a custom date range into a freeform table, select both the visits from the comparison date range and the target date range whilst you have your summary change visualisation unlocked. This should then become a positive or negative change, depending on how the target value compares against the comparison range, something like the below; Thanks,Chris

Re: Segment population - quick check Chris_Leyland - Adobe Analytics
Hi, It'll depend on the site, but in theory, I'd assume you're correct in most instances because of the following; This is assuming the site is a basic eCommerce site; You could add a product to the basket from the product display page (This session now qualifies in segment B as I have viewed the product page)You then abandon the site, returning an hour later in a new session. In this new session, you go ahead and complete the basket transaction (Again, this session qualifies in segment B as I am ...

Line Visualisation not Working Since Update Chris_Leyland - Adobe Analytics
Hi, Since the recent update to line visualisations in Adobe workspace, these no longer appear to be working. This through any method of generating (dragging in from components, right click> generate line & using insert >line. When this is done, an empty visualisation appears as below, showing the correct headers, without generating the actual visualisation; This is on every metric, segmented & unsegmented, and we could do with this issue resolving asap. Thanks, Chris

Adobe Workspace Search within Dimension Not Working Chris_Leyland - Adobe Analytics
Hi All!We're currently experiencing an issue in all workspace dashboards & all users, but only a few dimensions- when we search within this (entering the top items over past 90 days) within the dimension explorer, this doesn't change the populated list. It's only a small issue, but if we're breaking down a freeform table by a specific event within a dimension, we now have to either pull this out in a segment, or bring in the whole dimension into the freeform & break it down from there. Anyone el...

Re: Adobe Report Builder - Legacy Reports Chris_Leyland - Adobe Analytics
Yeah, that would be the perfect scenario, however the only scheduled version is the PDF- meaning the copy that gets delivered is the PDF version.

Re: Adobe Report Builder - Legacy Reports Chris_Leyland - Adobe Analytics
Hi Pabloc, Thanks- however the user left the company & I can only assume the original file is long-since gone. I was hoping that due to the ongoing schedule, there must be some copy of the raw API command existing somewhere that I could access to be able to replicate the report- or is it that once the report is scheduled it just becomes a sealed case that we can't get in to edit?Good suggestion with using a PDF to excel editor, however the value will be getting access to the users report builder...

Adobe Report Builder - Legacy Reports Chris_Leyland - Adobe Analytics
Hi, We've had some reports set up by a previous member of staff via Adobe Analytics report builder & these have been scheduled to run as a daily extract as a PDF. Is there any way to access the raw excel version of these reports? Thanks, Chris

Adobe API Service, Source & Destination Chris_Leyland - Adobe Analytics
Hi, We're looking at using our Adobe Analytics data piped directly into Tableau, using Cognetik's data connector;(Tableau Now Loves Cloud Data | Cognetik Cloud Connector).Which appears to work perfectly up to the point of bringing this in as a data source (connects to report suite, even returns the query into the preview pane), however when it comes to importing this we receive an error that indicates this has been blocked by our firewall.I've spoken to Cognetik who said this won't be their conn...
