Since we don't have v4.4 installed, I cannot confirm if this solution is adequate or not. I'm working on getting on our IT department's schedule to get v4.4 installed, but that may not happen for several months.
Is there still a problem with the wintitle element? With v4.3.1.390, if you try to insert a wintitle, the key reference dialog box opens up and you have select one of your key references. The only way to insert a wintitle is to type it manually in the source code view. This seems to have been true s...
The Find and Replace feature from within the XML Editor lets you select a specific folder to search. I've tested it a few times and it seems to work well. (Find and Replace is in the bottom left of your screen, below the other icons. You may have to expand out the left panel to see it.)
Key references and conrefs work in both DITA-OT and Native PDF Publishing. I haven't tried conkeyrefs yet. Variables (keydefs) work fine in both DITA-OT and Native PDF. DITA-OT has always supported use-by-reference footnotes, but I understand that v4.4 of AEM Guides has fixed that oversight in Nativ...

I have also filed this request. According to Adobe's tech team, the use-by-reference footnote doesn't work yet in AEM Guides. They are supposed to be working on it.
New to v4.3.1.390: Within the XML Editor, the editor no longer appears to be restricting element selection based on the cursor position. For example, my cursor was in the middle of a <plentry> element and should have only allowed me to insert a <pd> element in that specific position. Instead, most ...
Is there a way to see which topics in a map are "dirty" (when the last saved version doesn't match the last working version)? I looked all over the Map Dashboard and the various Manage options, but so far the only way I can see that is to open up each topic and look at the version number in the uppe...
