Re: Attribution modeling - Adobe Analytics 21-08-2014
Fully agree, there has to be more attribution models than first, last, linear and participation on the customer journey touchpoints Interesting for us is- U-model, where introducer and closer getting more attribution, influencing touch points less- temporal model, the older the less- or something individual. I know there are tools supporting this different attribution methods. Best, Michael

Re: List Variable Expiration and Allocation - Adobe Analytics 13-02-2013
Agreed, list evars really become unusable e.g. for teaser tracking: e.g. on page1 there are teaser A,B,C viewed (event1) and on page2 only teaser C (click-through, event2) which leads to conversion (event3). Full allocation would now give A,B,C not only the conversion (event3) but also the click-through (event2)! Best, Michael Originally the list evar had the first, recent allocation, but obviously this caused problems, so without any pre-notification by Adobe this has been replaced by linear, f...

Re: Make Paid/Natural Search Keywords built in eVars for Classifications, etc. - Adobe Analytics 28-11-2012
Hi David, totally agree. Best solution would be to add "branded" and "non-branded" SEO to traffic sources. And configure brand regexp on administration interface for each report suite - like paid search.Best, Michael

save language settings in user profile (and other settings) - Adobe Analytics 18-12-2011
Please save user's preferred language settings in user profile and not in a cookie. It is really annoying to set language to preferred English after each login (default is location based, e.g. German) again and again. Esp. if you delete cookies periodically or change browser or go to another computer etc. Please also save report settings like thousands separator and csv separator permanently. Thanks, Michael

Editable List for local Search Engines - Adobe Analytics 02-11-2011
Hi, as SiteCatalyst does not cover (all, most, some) country specific search engines, it should be possible for Admins to add missing search engines + query string parameter into a list similar to paid search detection, something like this: This would also help to Adobe to keep their Search Engine List up to date. Cheers, Michael
