You use the Date2Num and Num2Date functions to do this. You turn the first date into a number using Date2Num then add 30 to it and turn it back into a date using Num2Date.

I haven't looked at your actual form but this usually occurs if you haven't set the subforms to allow page breaks (You do this under: Object > Subform> Allow Page Breaks within Content) or the Master page is set to one instance only (You can fix this under Object > Master Page > Restrict Page Occurence).

that for loop is in javascript. The code I gave you is formcalc - you can't use both in the same event so you need to choose one language for the button code and stick with it.

As I said above that code will only work if the button is actually in the row. If you have the button outside the table then using '$' won't work. You could use a variable instead that would act as the index, so say set a form variable called 'rowIndex' and set the initial value to 0. Then the code (in formcalc) for your button would be something like:Table2.Row1.instanceManager.addInstance()Table2.Row1[rowIndex + 1].Cell2 = Table2.Row1[rowIndex].Cell2rowIndex = rowIndex + 1

It depends on where your button is placed and how you have coded it. If, for instance, your button is on the last cell in Row1 and the code to add another row is something like (in formcalc):Row1.instanceManager.addInstance()Then to copy the data from the initial row to the next row you could put in the click event of the button under the addInstance code (in formcalc):Row1[$.parent.index + 1].Cell1 = Row1[$.parent.index].Cell1and then just change Cell1 to whatever you have called each cell in t...

You can use the instance manager to duplicate a subform. Just make sure the subform is set to repeat in the Object > Binding tab.

if there are only 2 possible states (ie. visible or hidden) then you don't need an 'else if' just an 'else' statement.

In Object > Field change Appearance to Custom... you won't be able to change the colour of a 3D box but if you change the line type to solid you can then pick a colour.

you need to put your code in the click event of the radiobutton list (rather than the individual button) and then just put something like:if (this.rawValue == 😎 { AR05.sfBody.sfRows.txtOther.presence = "visible"; }else {AR05.sfBody.sfRows.txtOther.presence = "hidden";}

yes it will work in java just the syntax is a little different, but you can have a mix of java and formcalc in your form anyway - just use formcalc for that button.

From that error message it seems your fields are not in a table, rather just numericfields in a subform. The scripting above will only work in a table. If you just have fields the calculation is just (in formcalc):$ = price1 + price2 + price3 etc.If the rest of the fields are in a table and just the calcuation field is not then the calculation needs to be:$ = sum(TableName.Row2[*].price)but you need to rename your fields either in the Hierarchy on the left-hand side of your screen or in the Obje...

Well I have done it before by using a button which the second person clicks and this brings up a messagebox which asks for a password. If the password is entered correctly the rest of the form (which is originally set to hidden) will become visible. The code in the click event of the button is something like (in formcalc):var correctpassword = xfa.host.response("Password:","For office use only","",1)if (correctpassword == "whateverYouWantYourPasswordToBe") then restOfForm.presence = "visible" $....

You need to make sure the row, table and any subforms that it is in are set to "Allow Page Breaks within Content" under the Object tab.

well if you want the second person to be able to see what the first person has entered it will need to be the same document. You could do it so the first 5 pages are visible and then the rest can become visible only when a password is entered or something like that. That way the first person can fill it out, send it to the second person who knows the password and that will unlock the whole form.

In a table you will need to reference each row - so your calculation would be something like (in formcalc):$ = Row1.price1 + Row2.price2 + Row3.price3 or however you have named them. The easiest thing to do is to call each row the same thing (eg. Row1) and each cell in the column the same thing (eg. price) and then you can just do a formcalc formula like this:$ = sum(Row1[*].price)The * will take all the rows called Row1 (which will automatically be renamed Row1[0], Row1[1], Row1[2], etc).

Here is some code in Formcalc which will work for what you want. Put it in the exit event for the textfield. In this example the page is called myPage and the textField is called TextField1. Rename them as you need.var indexCount = 0var thisIndex = $.parent.indexwhile (indexCount < thisIndex) doif (myPage[indexCount].TextField1 == myPage[thisIndex].TextField1) thenxfa.host.messageBox("You have already used that number")$ = ""endifindexCount = indexCount + 1endwhile

If you want to use a subform you would put the textbox inside the subform, and just make sure you have ticked "Allow page breaks within Content" for both the textbox and the subform. However if you just have a textbox that you want to expand it doesn't need to be in a subform, just make sure the page it is on and the textbox both have "Allow page breaks within Content" ticked and the page is set to flowed.

Your scripts are running whether the boxes are checked or not, so you just need to put in an if statement so your script will only run if the checkbox has a value of 1 (checked).

There may be a better way to do this but something which would work is to use a textfield and variables. So your textfield would have a formReady value of something like (in formcalc):$ = Concat("Hi my name is ", nameVariable," and I'm trying...")You would make a form Variable called nameVariable with a default value of name. Then in the enter event of the textfield you would put something like:if (nameVariable == "name") thennameVariable = xfa.host.response("What is your full name?")endif$ = Con...

also to change the colour of the text just add to your if statement:Cell1.font.fill.color.value = "13,254,123"changing the numbers to the colour you want.

You could do something like (in formcalc in the exit event of Cell2):if ($.isNull) thenCell1 = ""else Cell1 = "2"endifthat way you don't have to have a default value and have it hidden originally, just leave it blank at the beginning.

You have the script in the wrong event because cell1 is not actually changing until you run the script. Try putting a script into the exit event of Cell2 and you could just put something like this (in formcalc):if ($.isNull) thenCell1.presence = "hidden"else Cell1.presence = "visible"endif
