Hi Techaspect Solutions, what you are saying is correct for dragging and dropping an image from asset finder, but when you need to drag and drop an image in the dialog tab of a component, then it is not possible to drop it from the asset finder , since the dialog is also open as full screen on the device(tablet)in the image component, the sling resourcetype is set as -cq/gui/components/authoring/dialog/fileuploadthen when the dialog is open, it is not possible to drag and drop an image form the ...

In the classic UI siteadmin console there was a column in which page impressions after connection with Adobe's site catalyst service could be shown. But in touch UI siteadmin, there is no option of viewing a page's impressions. But in the AEM 6.3 documentation, it is mentioned that it is possible to view the page impressions - https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-3/administer/integration/marketing-cloud/sitecatalyst/sc-connect.html#About Page Impressions Is the documentation wrong? In touch UI, while authoring a page in a tablet, in image component , it is not possible to drag and drop an image from the content finder. Since the dialogs open in full screen mode in tablets, content finder is not visible and it is not possible to drag and drop image from content finder. The same behavior is also observed for we retail site for the image component - /apps/weretail/components/content/imageIs this the intended behavior, is the author not allowed to change the image from DAM in ...

In classic UI there is an option to upload the image in page properties from DAM using content finder, but in the OOTB page properties dialog; the content finder is not visible. How can the content finder be activated while page creation so that image can be dragged and dropped form DAM, has anyone been using content finder to upload image in page properties in touch ui dialog ? Request you to please let me know, appreciate your speedy response. Thanks

Hi guys Ratna Kumar, smacdonald2008Thanks for your response. This is correct; the plugins are available in rich text editor on AEM 6.3. But the plugins do not show up until the touch ui dialog is clicked upon. Could you please let me know if this is a known issue with rich text editor's touch ui dialog ? Also, 'no available styles' is displayed as no styles have been added. If the styles tab is deleted from the cq:dialog; 'no available styles' is displayed above the text tab. Could you please le...

I solved by adding the mapping - sling:match etc[.]clientlibs/(.+)sling:internalRedirect /etc.clientlibs/$1so that it matches only one character - '.' after /etc Now both /etc/clientlibs and /etc.clientlibs requests return a response.

Ok, so the issue was with sling mappings, the mappings were appending /content/sitename in front of /etc.clientlibsHave added a sling mapping for /etc.clientlibs , but now the normal clientlibs path - /etc/clientlibs does not work because resource resolver converts every /etc/clientlibs request to /etc.clientlibswhich leads to an error from clientproxy servlet./etc/clientlibs/foundation/jquery.min.d7c42e4a257b8b9fe38d1c53dd20d01a.js resolves to Resource=NonExistingResource, path=/etc.clientlibs/...

We faced an issue while doing AEM upgrade from 6.1 to 6.3 instance. We had a system user who needed to be provided read permissions on /apps . We had added the rep:policy node xml of /apps in the source code which contained the read access of the system user on /apps node , and used overwritein the maven vault package plugin that deployed the rep policy node to any new instance/environment. This way we don't need to worry about the system user's permission in any new created environment/instance...

Thanks Kautuk for looking into it. The questions you asked helped me in diving down deep into the OOTB AEM screens code and helped me in resolving the issue. The answer of your questions are - - is the content produced correctly in the browser player? - Yes- does the HTML include the script tags? - No- if no script tags, is the category correctly set? - yes- if all of the above is good, is this online or offline content on the device? - Offline- if online content, can you check again if the html...

Css and js render on a device when written inside the markup, but not render when on device when they are referred as clientlibs. The custom component contains a simple div and simple css and jQuery function . When the same css and js is used within the html markup as and <script> tag, the css and js work on a device , but when being referred as clientlibs, they do not render on device. The css and js work fine on both edit and preview mode of channel This is the way I am referring the clientlibs - <sly data-sly-use.clientLib="/libs/granite/sightly/templates/clientlib.html" data-sly-call="${clientLib.all @ categories='screen.test'}" data-sly-unwrap/> <div class ="testclass">This is test text.</div>The channel renders with a simple text without any css and js applied. This is how it work when css and js is included in markup -<div class ="testclass">This is a test text</div>$(document).ready(function(){$(".testclass").animate({left: '371px'}); }); <style>.testclass{background:#98bf21;height:100px;width:100px;position:absolute; }I even checked the we.retail screen demo provided, it is also referring the css and js in the same sightly way of referring clientlibs, the css and js does render fine on their application channel, and they have not used any custom...

Thanks for the reply Amit, I understand that by configuring publish server, only the published pages or the approved campaigns will be read. The use case is that the campaign analysts want to see only new approved campaigns . If there are 100s of approved campaigns, then the list of campaigns will be too large, is there a way using which pages can be hidden from campaign console using page properties so that content authors have the capability to hide/disable the campaign from campaign console ?...

This is a general discussion exploring the possibility of using content and experience fragments while authoring e-mail pages in AEM which are sent as mails via Adobe campaign. Our client would like to use this functionality while authoring e-mail pages. Has anyone used content and experience fragments in the e-mail body? This was solved by adding the sightly conditions using data-sly tag instead of sly taghttp://stackoverflow.com/questions/43716591/extra-div-getting-added-in-sightly-html-markup-in-if-else-conditionposting the answer here for all's benefit --This is most probably due to invalid nesting of the tags. An extra div gets added in sightly if else html markup; when the the second block is not executed. There are three conditions based on checkbox in author dialog. When the second checkbox is not checked; then first and third condition are true and second condition is false; so the second sightly block should not get executed. But it adds an extra div in the markup ; so that the div with class "container tabs-container" gets closed in between.-- please find below the sightly markup ...

Thanks @vmehrotr, this was a lifesaver; specially since it is becoming so difficult to get response back from Adobe team even after raising a ticket. The the widgets folder at /libs/cq/ui/widgets/source/widgets/wcm/AuditLogDialog.js is a cq:ClientLibraryFolder ; but the 'widgets' folder I created at /apps/cq/ui/widgets/source/widgets/wcm/AuditLogDialog.js is an nt:folder . Still it works fine. cq:ClientLibraryFolder cq:ClientLibraryFolder
