Re: Customizing header and footers - Adobe LiveCycle 19-01-2011
I think I have it figured out. I try putting the pop-up in the master page and that seems to work fine, but is there a way to have it show on top of the text?? Right when the pop-up shows up it's behind some of the text in the form and it becomes hard to use. Also is there a way to lock the text or something once selected because I then noticed as I'm going through the form if a paragraph flows onto the next page the header and footer go away or reset itself to where the user has to select the o...

Customizing header and footers - Adobe LiveCycle 13-01-2011
I tried everything I could think of and I'm so close to getting this to work but missing one small piece. I created a customer pop-up within a form that sets up the header and footer. It works fine of the header and footer piece is within the form but I have my header and footer on the master page. I have everything working from having the pop-up come up, make the selection and click ok and the pop-up goes away. The only issue is nothing shows up in the header and footer once the okay button is ...

Re: Custom pop-up that controls header and footer - Adobe LiveCycle 29-12-2010
The way its setup is there is a button on the form that says add header and footer. When the user clicks on the button a pop-up (subform) comes up with the choices (radio buttons) and a button again that says add header and footer. The pop-up box then goes away. When that button is clicked I'm looking for a way when the user clicks the second button it adds the choices to the header and footer which are on the master page. For the pop-up button I have the code as follows. I shortened the code so...

Custom pop-up that controls header and footer - Adobe LiveCycle 27-12-2010
I have a pop-up box that was created for a form and I was wondering if there is a way to control the header and footer that is on the master page based on what the selections from the pop-up box are. I had a drop down controlling the header and footer using xfa.resolveNode ... but it would only work on the first page. I need it to work on all pages of the form. The pop-up box was created in designer using the invisible and visible scripts but the header and footer is on the designer page. I need...

Making two parts to a form - Adobe LiveCycle 15-12-2010
I will try to explain this the best way I can. I created a form which has quite a few if then functions. The start of the form has three radio button choices and base on one of those three selections the form changes. My issue is or is there a way to have everything in one form but in sections so if the first radio button is selected, part I shows up or if radio button 2 is selected then part 2 shows up. My problem is the objects in the form all run together at the moment but I want to be able t...

Saving a form - Adobe LiveCycle 23-11-2010
How do I save a form so other users can fill out the form and save it. I sent a draft form to the customer and she can't save it. An error message pops up and says it can't save and to print it out to save a copy. Am I missing something??
