I've quite often applied a segment and then wanted to compare Key metrics or events between two date ranges at a top level. Currently Workaround is to look at a report where only one value recorded or use ReportBuilder.

Ben Another usercase would be where we couldn't analyse using server logs .. eg. when an article/video goes viral ie whilst we could (using server logs) to determin the second/mins the requests started what we can't see (unless we capture by populating evar with time value) is when the article/video...

Benjamin, With regards real-time and our requirement, we would not want the users to run any other reports. .. scope creep but maybe tweaking menu items visible/non-visible by user groups

At present I believe there are a number of permissions that have dependencies on other permissions eg. ONLY enabling 'Real Time' under Advanced Reporting Access won't grant access to the Real Time report(s), as an Admin user you have to then second guess the dependencies .. which I haven't yet worke...

Make lifecycle metrics available in segment builder, as a workaround we have to copy into prop/evar using processing rules

Dan, Have you tried comparing New/Repeat segments based on built in visits no. vs getNewRepeat ? I'm seeing odd differences (using discover) suggesting the latter is not accurate (similar finding with other plugins too when compared to equivilant built in metrics )

Return Frequency / Days since last visit (discover) - Have both metrics show 'first time' visits so that total breakdown visits = all visits

Need to see browser usage on mobile devices .. as certain things do not work in certain browsers and therefore can't assertain how many visitors/pvs affected
