Re: August release visitor ID andrew_r-GrfLbX - Adobe Experience Cloud
Thanks, this looks very promising, can you advise how to use this in DTM?

August release visitor ID andrew_r-GrfLbX - Adobe Experience Cloud
Are you able to give any further information on the release note around cross domain in the August 2016 release notes? Added functionality to support tracking Marketing Cloud IDs across domains, native apps and hybrid apps to web transitions. (MCID-42)Was cross domain functionality not there to begin with? And how will cross domain tracking work with 1.7.0 code release?

Average time spent on page metric andrew_r-GrfLbX - Adobe Analytics
Is this metric available in Workspace? I can't find it anywhere but it reports fine in reports and analytics :S

Re: Scheduled Projects Not Being Sent, Every Update to Schedule Generates New E-mail andrew_r-GrfLbX - Adobe Analytics
I've noticed the same here, if you update a schedule and the start date and time on it is in the past it will automatically rerun the report immediately. The only way to stop it doing this is to set the project start date and time to the next time you want it to run.

Hmm that sounds like an interesting theory, should the cookies be set on the first domain or the second one?

Re: Visitor ID service and Cross domain andrew_r-GrfLbX - Adobe Analytics
This cross domain issue seems to be getting worse for us since we implemented the latest Visitor ID service. This issue really needs to get resolved sooner rather than later.

Re: Removing User from Target Standard andrew_r-GrfLbX - Adobe Target
I have this issue as well, when I delete someone from Marketing Cloud Admin they are never removed from the users list in Target, I just assume their access has been revoked and it's just one of the many bugs in the system!

Re: How can I use the daysSinceLastVisit-plugin within DTM? andrew_r-GrfLbX - Dynamic Tag Management
Only difference that I have on mine which might be worth a try is:s.usePlugins=true s.doPlugins=function(s) { /* Add calls to plugins here */ s.prop45 = s.getDaysSinceLastVisit('sc_dslv'); }

Re: Visitor ID service and Cross domain andrew_r-GrfLbX - Adobe Analytics
It looks like the latest release of Visitor ID looks to fix the issues with cross domain (although doesn't explicitly say there was an issue to begin with...) When you update to the new 1.6.0 code it changes the default loadTimeout to 30secs however if like us you were advised to manually set the loadTimeout to a different time in DTM you'll now need to make sure you remove this to let the default time take precedence.I haven't implemented 1.6.0 yet plan to begin dev testing next week along with...

Re: Assigning events for every Hashchange - Single page app andrew_r-GrfLbX - Dynamic Tag Management
not sure if you've changed things for security but your first if statement has "hasvalue" instead of "hashvalue" also it looks like you're putting the code in the custom criteria field which is wrong you need to put it in the Analytics custom page code section (below the evar,props,events section) For criteria you should just have on pushstate or hashchange and generally don't need any other criteria

Re: Event-based rules not capturing dynamic reporting suite within "Customize Page Code" andrew_r-GrfLbX - Dynamic Tag Management
I use the following code within my analytics tool and never have an issue with events firing or anything, hopefully it might be of some use.var suiteId //store the s.account if(location.host == ("sitea.com")) { suiteId = 'mycompany-sitea-prod'; } else if (location.host == ("siteb.com")){ suiteId= 'mycompany-siteb-prod'; } else if (location.host == ("subsite.sitea.com")){ suiteId= 'mycompany-sitec-prod'; } else { suiteId= 'mycompany-sitea-staging'; } s_account = suiteId; //override the DTM report...

Re: Assigning events for every Hashchange - Single page app andrew_r-GrfLbX - Dynamic Tag Management
I use an JS IF statement within custom code section:Very basic and cut down version of what I use: if(Stage == "abc") { s.events = "event42"; } else if (Stage == "def") { s.events = "event43"; }If you're doing it for non pageviews the code is slightly different due to the way s.tl works

Re: Exclude internal employee traffic by VPN andrew_r-GrfLbX - Adobe Analytics
You would simply enter the IP address(es) given to the user on the VPN connection in to the exclude by IP section of Admin. Usually they are the same IP addresses as given to users when connected to the network from a business location.

We've had ongoing issues around this for a year now, increasing the timeout did help a lot but it's definitely not sorted the issue at all.

Re: Creating Test on pages with React js andrew_r-GrfLbX - Adobe Target
Thanks for the support, link is: https://apply.youandb.co.uk/cyb/account-opening?applyFor=IM136I do have a funny feeling you're on to something. For reference the function within the react application which loads DTM is: const attachAms = config => { if (!config.trackingId) { return; } const adobedtm = `//assets.adobedtm.com/6677ad16b0484ad2b930d0b209e41c1e96798d52/satelliteLib-${config.trackingId}.js`; const head = document.getElementsByTagName('head')[0]; const scriptEle = document.createEleme...

Re: Creating Test on pages with React js andrew_r-GrfLbX - Adobe Target
Whenever I load at.js in to DTM and then load a page I get: "Failed to execute 'write' on 'Document': It isn't possible to write into a document from an asynchronously-loaded external script unless it is explicitly opened." for the at.js script and of course Target fails to load.

It looks like it's fixed now, just checked and bounce rate was showing as a decimal number but now coming up as percentage again.

Seeing the same issue here apparently it's on a high priority fix with Engineering, make sure your account manager is aware to keep the pressure on to get these issues fixed.

Noticed this issue this morning as well but hadn't yet got round to investigating it, this was with the bounce rate which isn't a custom calculated metric as well.

Visits to complete purchase andrew_r-GrfLbX - Adobe Analytics
Hi all,Can someone confirm my thinking for me - I'm looking to see how many visits it takes for a visitor to complete a purchase (IE does a visitor come back on average 5 times before completing a purchase)The only way I can think of doing this is to use Visit number as the dimension and then my purchase event as the metric. Does this make sense?

Re: how to know which version of AppMeasurement code andrew_r-GrfLbX - Dynamic Tag Management
If you're analytics tool in DTM is set to managed by Adobe then it must be set to version 1.6 or higher to get clickmap code.If you're set to custom code managed by DTM then there should be a line in the code that says: AppMeasurement for JavaScript version: 1.x. If it's this one then the easiest way is to go in to code manager in analytics and download the latest AppMeasurement and paste it over the current version.
