In the formReady event you can try to hide the field. So that when the field loads it will hide that. The navigation button is in MasterPage or what? Thanks,Bibhu.

Hi Simon,You can use the instanceManager() to count the numer of subforms. As you have mentioned PatientDetailsSubform contains the information about the patient so you can count the instances of this subform to get the no.of patients.var patientCount = PatientContainer.PatientDetailsSubform.instanceManager.count;Thanks,Bibhu.

To be on safer side try to use xfa.resolveNode() feature. For ex: xfa.resolveNode("form1.#subform[0].Table4.Row2[1].hours1").rawValue = xfa.resolveNode("form1.#subform[0].Table4.Row2[0].hr0").rawValue + xfa.resolveNode("form1.#subform[0].Table4.Row2[1].hours").rawValueThanks,Bibhu.

Try using dragging the Items in the Tab order view in the order you want to. Do not use Default tab order , use custome tab order instead. Instead of dragging you can also doubleclick and put the tab order value you want to. Tab order generally depends on X and Y positions. Tab order should be specified at the very end of the form development.Thanks,Bibhu.

Hi,You need not to do any specific binding overe here. The default binding would be "UseName". Here you have to use a list or an array then loop through the nodes of the XML you are embedding nad look for the field nodes that you want to put your data in from the embedded XML like that of a binding. Then remove all those unused XML nodes prior to submission.Thanks,Bibhu.

Hi,When you are using a XML data connection and submitting the XML data as PDF can accomodate only one XML, so it would submit the whole XML that you are embedding using Acrobat. You need to do a bit of coding and you need to loop through all the nodes that are unused before submitting the XML.Thanks,Bibhu.

Put the script in the exit event of the ContactNo. So when the contact not empty it will make both the Name fields as mandatory. Then in the exit event of both FirstName, Last name check which Name field has value, according to that make the other one mandatory and show message. In the contact no exit event put the scriptvar lv_contactno = xfa.resolveNode("xfa.form.data.MainSubform.Contact02Subform.CNTCTNODR PDWN2").rawValue; if (lv_contactno != null) { xfa.resolveNode("data.MainSubform.Contact02S...

How about calling the click event of Button2 inside the click event of the Button1. Inside the click event of the Button2, you can put the folloing script. Prior to that in the click event of the Button 2 you can put "xfa.host.messageBox(\"World answers Hellow!\")";Then in Button1's click event put Button2.execEvent("click");Thanks,Bibhu.

Hi,Lets be clear what you want to achieve here. Are you distributing the form to several people or just someone will use it. In later case you can take the help of docReady and docClose events. In the docClose event set a counter and increment it. When the form is opened then fetch that value and put it in the Field that you want. But the user has to save the form, Is this the thing that you want to achieve or something else? Thanks,Bibhu.

Once data connection is done, then you can set the Databinding in the fields to capture the values. After doing dataconncetion if you drag and drop the data conncetion in the design view every field would automatically be binded.Otherwise you have to go to particular field then select ObjectPalette > Binding > Data Binding > Select the particular data binding from your data conncetion.Thanks,Bibhu.

I am really confused about which subform you want to set instances and show In the parent Subform OtherDoorSF, it contains to child subforms i.e. Header and SF. You need to put the reference for the subforms correctly. For ex: If you want to set the visibilty of thre Header child subform of the parent OtherDoorSF then you can use xfa.resolveNode("OtherDoorSF [" + i +"]").Header.presence = "visible";If you want the SF child form to be visible then you can usexfa.resolveNode("OtherDoorSF [" + i +"]...

If all your bindings are in proper place, it should work. Have you checked whether you have given any particular values for radioButtons? Check the radioButton bindings once again, Check the submitted the XML from the form then check the radio button values. Id it's there then there might be some other issue other than data binding. If it's not then cross check your data binding.Thanks,Bibhu.

The problem is due to data binding. None of your fields have data bindings. So when you submit the form it becomes blank. So you can change the data bindings as below.Select the field > Object Palette > Binding > Data Binding > Select Use Name. For example : If the name of the field is Description then data binding would be Use name (Description).I could have posted the form but some security restrictions here preventing me doing the same.Thanks,Bibhu.

How about making a custom event of the short lived process of event Throw type and use the same event as an Event start point in the long lived process?Lets say you have 1 Short Lived process which will accept a document variable as an input and you have one Longlived process which will use that document variable for creating a Task in workspace. So what gonna you do is create a custom event in the short lived process and capture the document variable. Then in the long lived process use the same ...

Hi,There are many ways to do it. BUt in your case you have to make a DataConnection and populate the value from the DB. Here you have to make an OLEDB data connection. But if you want to make through XML then you have to make a XML schema data connection.Thanks,Bibhu.

Ok. In that case you need to set the instance of the subform first, then you need to loop through all the instances and make those subforms visible. In the change event of the DropDownList you can put the following script.var a = xfa.event.newText; // This will capture the value in the change event, if you want the script in the exit event you have AreadDoorMF.instanceManager.setInstances(a) ; to make it as var a this.rawValuefor (var i = 0; i

Hi,If you want to capture the selected value in the change event of the dropdown list, then in the change event you can put the scriptvar a = xfa.event.newText. In the exit event you can use the rawValue, but during the change event you have to use xfa.event.newText .Thanks,Bibhu.
