 Yes, if you enable table builder and drag dimension values (click the arrow on an orange dimension, it reveals yellow dimension values) into the table builder, it allows you to keep those exact breakdowns regardless of what else you configure in the canvas.

if you want to remove event256 from all hits except exit links, just remove the second line of code where you're setting event256. You're still setting it in the if statement, so it will still be sent out during an exit link call.
