Undo is a little finicky in code windows. I recommend copy / pasting code blocks in notepad or similar so you can go back to old versions of code.

The on / off state of the checkbox can be toggled using a custom value. Make sure you are setting the checkbox object to the correct value for the state you want (checked vs. unchecked).

That's not 100% true...Static XFA forms also include an AcroForm version, which really is a PDF. However, you are limited to the features of "real" PDFs, which means that the only value add being provided by LiveCycle Designer is its layout capabilities.

You will have to position and hide the fields that you want to add. You cannot add pages to static forms at runtime.
