  • Here's a great one to allow better organization of templates in multi-tenant environments, especially for System Admins who see everything: https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115003523494-Convert-To-Project-Window-Template-Organization

  • I agree. I also just submitted an idea to expand the selection screen. 5 by default seems small, given the amount of space on the screen. https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360015150174-Convert-to-Project-Show-More-Templates-in-Select-Screen

  • When converting an issue to a project, the window only shows 5 possible templates. I think the selection screen should expand to show more possible selections WHY: We have more than 5 templates. We have tried to limit the number of templates to a manageable amount, but it still involves a lot of s...

  • Correction to my earlier statement. When there are special characters in the field name, you can add slashes to help with calculation. Ex: (ex. "What would you like to do/? Select all that apply.")

  • Jill, there is an Idea Exchange idea to also make it clearer that an issue has converted to a request. https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115003984253-Add-an-update-to-the-update-feed-and-have-a-link-in-project-and-request-header-area-when-requests-are-converted-to-projects- We a...

  • Currently, access to the Mobile App is managed at the global level (System > Preferences > Security > Access > "Let people use Workfront's mobile applications and the Workfront Outlook Add-in") I believe this shouldn't be a global setting, but instead something managed at the Access Level. Use Case...

  • Thanks Tracy for the up-vote and the report tip! We actually made two "whoops" reports - one from the issue angle, and one from the project angle. We did this because sometimes we have multiple requests resolved by each other (duplicate requests or requests we bundle together, and then later decide...

  • As to your second question: No, the issue's [Planned Completion Date] isn't linked to the project's [Planned Completion Date]. There are other fields that remain in-sync when there's linked by Resolved By relationship (such as [Status] - if you change the lead task/issue's [Status], the status on al...

  • You can also add the column [Resolving Object Type], which shows if the resolvable is a Project (PROJ), Task (TASK), or Issue (OPTASK). We add filters to our reports to filter out all the issues being resolved by Projects (since they are essentially the same request twice in the system, and we're ch...

  • I agree. The Sorting right now is illogical. For example, if you sort (view) by Item Priority, the priorities are sorted by 0,1,2,3 (None, Low, Medium, High), so the highest priority items are at the bottom. I think the high priority items should be at the top.
