This may be solved for. There's a field on each template called [Is Active]. If you uncheck it, the template won't appear in the picklist or on your list of templates. Another possible solution: Add a new option in the Layout Template to allow admins to choose whether to display the Commit Date or Planned Completion Date on the Task/Issue page. This functionality already exists in the Layout Template for "Legacy My Work"
