It would be great if the hours on the new calendar view on Home included PTO hours from Workfront's own time off calendar. We can have those items show up, but they aren't included in the hours total.
I think the Home Calendar view should have better integration with your profile's [Schedule]. Right now, it seems limited.
It's a 2nd calendar to maintain
It doesn't allow room for partial days (ex. if someone works four 9-hour days and one 4-hour day)
It doesn't allow time for lunch in its calculation. (ex. someone may think I work 8-5 with a 1-hour lunch. If you put in 8-5, the Calendar thinks you have 9 hours of capacity each day)
It doesn't allow partial hours (ex. what if your schedule starts at 7:30)
