Re: SKILL EXCHANGE: Continue Discussion on Calculated Field Session - Workfront 13-04-2022
Hi Nichole - I have done a report like this to get an average on a single task before. I use it in my template audits. If you grouped by the template task names, you'd at least get the two averages and can add them together. Calculated fields only work on the item they are on OR info on items that they can reference (i.e. You can put Project info in a task calculation) I know it isn't a calculation, but hope that is helpful

Re: SKILL EXCHANGE: Continue Discussion on Calculated Field Session - Workfront 13-04-2022
Hi John - it is very interesting.. if the starting time is part of the work day, it seems to work. But if it isn't, the issue you mentioned does seem to happen I tried doing something with CLEARTIME, which did change it back to April 18th, but 12:00AM on the 18th so the time is off. Anyone "Workfront Ninjas" have an idea on this?

SKILL EXCHANGE: Continue Discussion on Calculated Field Session - Workfront 13-04-2022
Hi Everyone ‚Äì my presentation for the Workfront Skill Exchange went live today! There were a lot of calculation examples in the presentation and I wanted to create a space here on the Community to share those so you can easily copy and paste them into your instance. Also, if you attended and didn’t get your question answered (or you didn’t attend and have questions about Calculations), you can post them here. I will try to answer them in a timely fashion Queue Topic Section: For Queue Topic ‚Ä...

Hi Joseph, just to confirm, you are using a document report and the current version of the proof has a deadline? Here is what I see...

Re: Is there a way to add two calculated fields together that are from two different object types? - Workfront 01-04-2022
Yep - as long as both fields are number fields and you are doing the combined calculation on the "lower" object type. (So in the case of Project and Task, you would have to do the calculation on the task. The reason is that you can reference in calculations, but you cannot use collections). Not sure what fields you are using. But let's say had Budget Left Over fields on both the object types. And I want to see what is the value left on the task level. I could do... Project.Budget Left Over-Budge...

Re: Error message: duplicate key value violates unique constraint - Workfront 01-04-2022
Hi Olivia - Are you using the Field Library when adding new fields to your form? You usually get that error message when you are trying to add a field that already exists to a new form. Remember, while you can have the same Label for fields, you do need a unique name for the fields.

Re: Reviewer and Approver role - issue from Outlook - Workfront 01-04-2022
Hi - so, this doesn't really fix your issue, BUT... have you thought of putting the three people in the stage and then using the Only One Decision Required option? This way each user will get their own email AND you will know who the user is that went in and made the decision/comments. It worked very well with my proofreaders at my last agency.

Re: How do I get reporting on General Overhead from Timesheets? - Workfront 24-03-2022
Hi David - I think the issue is your portfolio ID filter. General Overhead hours are not tied to projects and so are not tied to Portfolios. You would need some sort of user filter to get just the Marketing designers. Is Marketing a group? Once you remove the Portfolio ID, you will see some results in your report.

Re: How can I show a column form a Proof Approval Report on a Document Approval Report? - Workfront 24-03-2022
Hi - for referencing (when you can use the colon), it needs to be with something the object has a one-to-one relationship with. You were close, but a document can have multiple versions. Usually that would mean that we would have to use a collection, but documents are special. They have the ability to reference currentVersion. Try this...displayname=Proof Deadlinequerysort=currentVersion:proofDeadlineDatetextmode=truevaluefield=currentVersion:proofDeadlineDatevalueformat=atDate
