Couldn't you just place those dashboards on the Layout Templates?

It would be great to see the project % complete and status reflected in the task. The task remains on the project, instead of falling off, so that whoever is managing the overall process can easily see where the sub-projects are.

An alternative could be that when the task or issue is marked in any status that equates with complete, the item is greyed out in a similar fashion as it is when a project has been marked closed or on hold. I posted a similar request which asks for the ability to reference (from a custom field) any list that is in the tool. For example, the custom field could be 'Business Manager' and we would then reference any user active in the system.

When updating a task in-line, it would be great if each of the date features has a 'today' button, which defaults the date to today's date. That way, if the schedule is way out of whack, there isn't a bunch of scrolling to get to a date that works.
