We would like the ability to designate who a story card will be auto-assigned to based on status. For example, when moving a story card to "QA", we would want to have the task assigned to a specific person that controls all Quality Assurance items.

  • Posting this to the discussion - I sent Lucas this note: Lucas-- Have you been able to work out a way to import custom form data, as well? I'm wondering if there is a way to add columns of form data to the kick-start sheet. As I review the worksheet, we will be able to get a lot of our JIRA data int...

Sounds like it. Thanks for sharing! We just hit 45 votes on this request, I just noticed - way to go team! The link Sara shared provides some good insight into a situation where more functionality on project hierarchy would be well-received!

  • Jamie - you and Barry have it right - Workfront is looking at Start Date - End Date of the child tasks. It may only be 7 weeks' worth of work, but since one task starts on 14/09/17 and the last task ends on 23/02/18, the total difference is ~114 days (depending on holidays, etc. - I also get 117 day...

  • Call tech support on what one? It makes sense to me: Count refers to the number of task, project, or issue items that have hours logged. Sum refers to the total of actual hours reported - it lines up exactly with the summary screen of the project. Greg Troester CHG Healthcare Services, Inc.

  • Cameron, Try running an hours report on the Project. I'm attaching screenshots of a report we have built to answer questions like yours: where are the hours coming from?? The report basis is simple: Set up an hours report with the following fields (to start with) Project: Name Owner Hours...

Agreed - there are many ways that we can tie things together (which is great!). So being able to have projects, issues, tasks, etc. "talk" to one another would make for a better user experience. Particularly for our internal clients who don't live in Workfront, like we do!

  • Ashley - Voted on that one! We also use dashboards for some bulk-editing/updating of projects. In the meantime, I can suggest something that we have done to work around this shortcoming. We built a "Status Update" form for projects with just a few basic fields (status, condition, etc.). This allows ...
