This was an idea on the previous support page. My link to it has since been disabled and I cannot find the original post on the new page. I will ask my rep if they can locate it as it was already above the threshold to be under consideration.

We have the ability for users to delete issues and tasks with logged hours turned off. However, this does not stop a user from deleting the entire project, issues and tasks included. We would like the ability to disable project deletion if any of its objects or the project itself has logged time.

We have our rep looking into this one as well as a couple of others that have pushed passed the 40 votes needed for consideration. He is reaching out to the product manager who is assigned to this enhancement and awaiting an update. I will try to post on this thread if I get any newsworthy info.

I don't want to plug holes in this if it is working for you, but this does not work in the scenario where a user is assigned to multiple tasks on a single project. We actually had WF look into this and they could not provide a report that would show a number count of how many projects a specific use...

I was just about to post this in the discussions, thinking I was missing something. It is definitely not a useful way to sort the tasks. I will forward this on and try to get some traction on sorting by project and then by either completion date or commit date.

I appreciate the response, but I cannot figure out to make it happen. lol. I am a beginner at this and have never used the calculated fields before.
