Re: Adaptive Form Table Pagination - Adobe Experience Manager Forms 06-04-2022
Hi @Mayank_Gandhi , thank you for the response. The premise of the adaptive form is it can take in data similar to an excel spreadsheet. There can be 1 to many rows and data in each row will be captured in a data store. The adaptive form table suits this use case when there are low amount of records, but it is unfortunate there is no pagination for performance purposes. I looked at your article about using Datatables and it may suit this use case as well. The sample package in the article no lon...

Adaptive Form Table Pagination - Adobe Experience Manager Forms 04-04-2022
Hello, I am working on an adaptive form that uses the Table component. There is a need to display 1 to 1000 rows at a time with each row containing fillable fields. I am noticing the form can become very slow once it reaches 50 rows. Is there an option in the table to add pagination (split every 50 rows into pages) for performance purposes? Thank you

Re: Adaptive Form - XML Schema Validation Failure - Adobe Experience Manager Forms 07-12-2021
Hi @Mayank_Tiwari, thank you for the reply. Your provided XML Schema works. However, I found it no longer works when I add the xhtml namespace. Is AEM not able to parse the XML schema when there is a namespace included? The reason I need xhtml is because I have rich text fields in the adaptive form and need the output service to generate the PDF from XDP.

Adaptive Form - XML Schema Validation Failure - Adobe Experience Manager Forms 06-12-2021
Hello, I have created an XML Schema Definition (XSD) and there are no issues with creating the data connection in the Designer XDP. I am able to properly bind the fields in the XDP. When creating an adaptive form in AEM and selecting the Schema, it states there is an error: "XML Schema Validation Failure - An error occurred while parsing SCHEMA. Ensure that you have selected a valid SCHEMA.". Below is the XSD file: I was under the assumption that any XSD supported i...

Adaptive Form - Rich Text Editor Default Font Family in XML - Adobe Experience Manager Forms 02-12-2021
Hello, In my adaptive form I am using rich text fields (Text Box component with Rich Text enabled) and need to set the default font family for the submitted XML. I am using the guideBridge.getDataXML function on form submission. Currently upon submitting, the default font family is Times New Roman. How can it be set to another font such as Arial? Below is an example of the XML: Test I have tried editing the font-family in the css for the rich text field, but the changes do not reflect ...

Adaptive Form - Configure Rich Text Editor - Adobe Experience Manager Forms 29-11-2021
Hello, I am trying to create a custom rich text box component for an adaptive form. I created an overlay of the guidetextbox from "/libs/fd/af/components/guidetextbox" in my /apps/project folder, however any changes to the rte settings are not reflected in the custom component. For example, removing "format#underline" from the inline toolbar does not reflect in the actual component. The underline button is still present in the rte after making this change. My goal is to remove the Style dropdown...

Betreff: Screen Reader Accessible Document of Record PDF - Adobe Experience Manager 01-10-2021
Hi @Kosta_Prokopiu1, thank you for your help. I modified the XDP file and was able to resolve the read order and repeating field name issue in the DoR. However, I found that the NVDA screen reader is still not reading whether a radio button or checkbox is checked/unchecked. Is there an additional setting in the XDP that needs to be added to the radio buttons/checkboxes?

Screen Reader Accessible Document of Record PDF - Adobe Experience Manager 29-09-2021
Hello, We have a requirement for the document of record to be ADA compliant and screen reader accessible. Currently, we are generating document of records with the OutputService API in AEM. In the PDFOutputOptions object, setTaggedPDF is set to true to generate accessibility tags in the PDF. When using a screen reader on the resulting PDF, we find that the field values and names are often repeated. Radio buttons are not read in order and does not state which option is checked. This results in ha...

Generated Document of Record has different font than XDP Form template - Adobe Experience Manager Forms 26-08-2021
Hello, I am encountering a strange issue. The generated document of record for my adaptive form has a different font than what is used in the XDP template. The fonts in the generated DOR are Myriad Pro, while all of the font properties in the XDP are using Arial. Has anyone encountered this issue before? I noticed this issue does not occur in my local environment. The generated DOR fonts are all Arial. Could this be due to missing fonts in an environment?
