How can I exclude checkout.telstra.com.au from my referring domain ?In your Referring Domains-related Marketing Channel Processing Rules, select the "ignore hits matching internal URL filters" checkbox. Also what can I do to get the referring domain instead of request.getheaderreferer 43555This might have something to do with your particular website and how the browser's document.referrer gets set. Or maybe there's another Marketing Channel Processing Rule that causes this.

Different builds of the same Launch library loading for different people

Update: mystery solved. The wrong script was being used in UAT. And I had the Launch Switch browser extension, which caused me to always use the "correct" environment.Has anyone faced this situation where you and your colleagues are loading different build versions of the same Launch satelliteLib JS file?My colleagues and I are loading our UAT site, which uses Launch’s Development environment. I’ve built a few libraries recently, so I can see the build date in the JS file as yesterday's date.But...

@shelly-goel I didn't try the clearVars method. I personally don't like it because it clears out all variables, whereas I want to keep some variables between hits.

Got this solution from Frederik Werner: add a delay when firing s.tl().E.g.// delay s.tl() call for 500 ms setTimeout(function() { ... s.tl(this, 'o', '...'); }, 500);

Activity Map skips a hit when sending consecutive s.tl() hits in the same page
Avatar

I have a situation where in one page, we have multiple buttons that open the same overlay within the page. However, each button has been coded as a DIV element, with a click event added to it.I've added "s_objectID" to each of these DIVs. When I click all of them, I expect Activity Map to record that particular DIV's s_objectID. Each DIV click also sends a s.tl() Custom Link hit with a name for that DIV.Here's what I've found:Click first DIV:s.tl() is sent with correct DIV name.Activity Map is s...

To verify that the data is really missing:Create a new, blank dashboard.Change the dashboard's date range to the last 12 months.Add a freeform table, if it's not there already.Add "Month" as the dimension. The freeform Table should automatically add "Occurrences" as the metric. Are the rows for all 12 months showing up?If they are showing up in this new dashboard, then it means the dashboard that you're referring to has fixed the date periods within the report tables themselves. I.e. (purple) dat...

Some AA practitioners face the same problem as you. Unfortunately, this is a limitation of AA's data schema, so there's nothing that we can do about it.You could raise this with Adobe Client Care to put in a feature request.

You can create your own image requests: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics/implementation/other/hardcoded.htmlI remember Adobe used to have AppMeasurement SDKs for other languages/platforms, e.g. for PHP. But I can't find that in the documentation site, so those might have been deprecated.

You can republish an older library. Up to 5 of the previously published libraries are available to be republished, if you're using Akamai as your Launch host.

If you want the "Days since Last Visit" number to be the values in each row, then you're not going to be able to do that. Which as you've probably discovered already. One possibility is to construct a table like this:Main dimension: user IDsMain metric: Visits --> then drag the "Days since Last Visit" dimension under that "Visits" metric. Analysis Workspace automatically breaks up the single Visits metric column into multiple Visits metric columns, one for each "Day since Last Visit" value (up to...

Consider a simple user journey:some other website --> your website page A --> your website page BThen your website page B's referrer is technically your website page A.You probably want Referrers to specific Entry Pages. That would be Referrers to your website page A, in the above example, because that is the first page that the user saw in that referred visit. In that case, in a Freeform Table, you can include the Entry Pages dimension with Visits metric, then breakdown the few Entry Page items ...

You should get this from your analytics team. That could be an in-house team or an external consultancy/agency. Adobe does not provide client-specific documentation. Also, DTM is going to be sunset in 2021, so you should really be implementing with Adobe Experience Platform Launch.

If you're referring to while using Analysis Workspace, then the solution is relatively simple: reduce the number of visualisations in your project. If you have several tabs/windows open with an Adobe Analytics page in each of them, then close some tabs/windows. Google Chrome v87 reduces its memory usage, but it's generally good practice with Chrome not to have too many windows open, especially if they're resource intensive, which Analysis Workspace projects usually are.

Do you mean you need "Hour of Day" as the x-axis? A Line visualisation won't be able to do that. The next best thing could be a Bar chart. Create a Freeform Table with the Hour of Day dimension and your metric(s). Then chart that table as a Bar chart.

Every time you press "Save" in a Rule or Data Element, Launch saves a new revision of that asset. (You'll notice the revision number getting bumped with each "Save".) This behaviour has been there since day 1 of Launch, as far as I know. Version control gets its information from these revisions. So if you're seeing minor formatting changes between revisions, it's most likely because you keep saving your rules/data elements.

Ok, I didn't realise that the main and subdomains had very different measurement objectives. You could also look at a global report suite (via multi-suite tagging): https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics/admin/manage-report-suites/rollup-report-suite.html. NOT a Rollup because Rollups don't support pathing, which looks like it's something that you need. The CNAME approach helps in using the same visitor ID across report suites, but doesn't solve your requirement of being able to repor...

Re: Track customer come from another domain (webproperty)
Avatar

There's no reason for you to use appendVisitorIdsTo. That method is used only when both Domains A and B have the same Adobe Org ID, such that both domains can be thought of as "one domain". But in your case, you and your partner have different IDs, so they are really two separate domains. Like Google and Microsoft. Google isn't going to add cross-domain links to Microsoft, even if they are partners in some businesses.

You probably want to make use of campaign tracking instead.Links from Domain B to Domain A would need to be tagged with the appropriate campaign tracking code. Then in Domain A's Report Suite, you'd be able to segment out traffic from those tracking codes, knowing that they're from your partner, and analyse them.

That sounds more like a conflict with another component (metric, segment) that you're reporting together with. Analysis Workspace definitely allows more than one Page Name to be reported in the same Freeform Table. (I assume that's the visualisation that you're using.)
