Re: ☕[AT Community Q&A Coffee Break] 12/8/21, 8am PT: Robert Calangiu, Senior Product Manager for Adobe Target☕ - Adobe Target 08-12-2021
@Robert_Calangiu Has Adobe considered an automated change log for activities? I maintain my own change log in the activity notes, but for changes to audiences, experiences, offers, split percentage, goals, etc., I'd love if Adobe maintained an automated log of activity changes with basic descriptions. It would be great to have notes in that context as well, similar to how we have notes per entity in Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection Tags (formerly Adobe Launch).

Re: ☕[AT Community Q&A Coffee Break] 12/8/21, 8am PT: Robert Calangiu, Senior Product Manager for Adobe Target☕ - Adobe Target 08-12-2021
@Robert_Calangiu Has Adobe considered very a basic versioning system built into the "Offers" area. While this doesn't happen often, I have accidentally overwritten the contents of one offer with another. Luckily, I maintain my own rough versioning system outside of Target and was easily able to rollback my mistake. But I'd love for the versioning system to be built into Target. Even something as basic as timestamped prior versions would be good enough. I don't need diff check or anything like th...

Re: ☕[AT Community Q&A Coffee Break] 12/8/21, 8am PT: Robert Calangiu, Senior Product Manager for Adobe Target☕ - Adobe Target 08-12-2021
@Robert_Calangiu Does Adobe have plans to expand on reporting on audiences? I'd love to see basic audience size metrics for the audiences that I have configured. This would be especially helpful to validate audiences from linked sources like the Marketo integration. I.e., of those on my static list in Marketo, how many of those users are also in my "visited key product page" audience generated by a profile script and profile parameter when users reach that page.

Re: ☕[AT Community Q&A Coffee Break] 12/8/21, 8am PT: Robert Calangiu, Senior Product Manager for Adobe Target☕ - Adobe Target 08-12-2021
@Robert_Calangiu I'm likely in the minority in that I am using Adobe Target alongside Google Analytics. Without Analytics for Target, the reporting in Target seems hamstrung. An example for one of the most basic missing features is reporting (impressions and conversions) export by date. One can use the API to generate this, but this seems like a feature that should be part of the Adobe Target feature set and shouldn't require the additional Analytics for Target integration. Does Adobe intend on ...

Re: Regarding a Test run through Target - Adobe Target 22-03-2021
I missed this requirement: The content of the slides should not be modified by Target to allow for the merchandising team to publish content updates to the default carousel component as needed Is it feasible that the features could be hosted as images published by their content management system or something? Either that or can the HTML be referenced in a static file somewhere that you could then reference and place into your experience?

Re: Regarding a Test run through Target - Adobe Target 22-03-2021
I believe all of this can be maintained as one activity, you'll just need lots of audience refinements and experiences. I think you'd likely have to use the forms-based experience builder for this. I'm not sure if it could be accomplished the the Adobe Target Visual Experience Composer. I'm curious to see what others recommend here. Experience 1It sounds like, for the default experience that everyone sees once, you'll set a profile parameter to ensure that everyone only sees it once. See the ref...

Adobe, why does the code markup in your forums have to be in multiple different font sizes?

Re: Difference between running average and every day - Adobe Target 18-03-2021
I assume you mean in the reports tab in an activity, correct? Daily will be your absolute conversion rate for each day in the time series graph. Per the documentation, “Running Average” reflects the cumulative conversions (from the start of the reporting window to the date represented on the graph) divided by the cumulative visitors. So let's say I have the following conversions and visitors by date. Note the difference between the the "absolute conversion rate" and "running average conversion r...

In addition to passing the profile parameter, you'd have to maintain an exclusion criteria in your audience definition in the Adobe Target user interface.

To add to what @LordOfTheRings mentioned, you could have the "opt-out" button have an onclick function like the following. function AdobeTargetExperienceUserOptOut() { try { var mboxParameters = {}; mboxParameters["experience.optOut"] = "true"; adobe.target.trackEvent({ "mbox": "target-global-mbox", "params": mboxParameters }); } catch (err) { console.log(err) } }
