Re: User Error Message - Adobe LiveCycle 25-10-2010
Nice!If I enter in goal A and do not enter in point A, it will automatically pop up with error message. If I enter in point A and do not enter in goal A, I need to click on Validate for error message. When the error message pops up, the point and cursor stay and you manually have to move back to goal A. However, if I go to goal B instead, it does not stop me. Originally, the form was in Excel using an error message to indicate when there were 6 goals and only 5 points or vice versa. It could be ...

Yes.Goal A and Point A are on the same line. Goal A is open text area, and Point A is a drop down list options (blank, 0, 1, 3, 5)Once the goals are completed, they are counted and the points for each are added and then averaged for a percentage score.. Some have clicked on a point and not entered a goal or vice versa.

User Error Message - Adobe LiveCycle 24-10-2010
Is it possible to set up a dynamic form to alert the user that they missed a field that needs to have an entry? For example,If goal A, B, C is null and ratea, rateb, ratec has a score of 1,then"A goal has been entered without a corresponding rate. Please review."

Re: arithmatic overflow - Adobe LiveCycle 22-09-2010
I'm not sure what I'm saying the in last post. Here's a picture that might be more helpful. I put the Divison*.06; in the field containing 0.333. Upon reopening document, no error message but 0.333 is gone - blank cell. I see if changing all of them works.

Re: arithmatic overflow - Adobe LiveCycle 22-09-2010
Hi Bruce,I removed the previous calc and replaced - under Javascript - yours. It did stop the message which is great but it seems to have stopped the other calculations that are connected to it.division * .06;Field one is Point total ---taken from another area of the documentField two is Count of Duties - taken from another area of the documentField three is the divison of Point total /Count of DutiesField four is the final calc taking Division*.06Division of Point and Division*.06 are now blank

arithmatic overflow - Adobe LiveCycle 22-09-2010
Hi,I have a form draft that is getting an arithmatic overflow error when it opens. The error explanation is due to the formula below. Is there a way to fix this? HIRE.measurementpage.#subform[0].dutyfinalscore::calculate - (FormCalc, client)$ = division *.60

Its only been worked on by me. I think its the first one you helped me with that I worked through to match what the final product was which would be the file you have now. I'm using Adobe Livecycle Designer ES, verison 8.2.1.3144.4.471865. When its sent out to multiple end users, I figured I would have to save it in a lower version of Adobe to make sure all would be able to open it.
