Hi all!I am trying to code some javascript that depending on the radio button I choose will determine which email address my form goes to. I think I am close but I am missing something. When I click the email button it always moves the radio button to position 1 and we only get the 1st emails. Here is what I have. var oDoc = event.target;if (Campus.rawValue = "1"){ oDoc.mailDoc({ bUI: true, cTo: "mrbecker@uillinois.edu;" + "giftadministration@uif.uillinois.edu;" + "COI@uiuc.edu", cSubject: Emplo...

I tried this for my form but for some reason it won't work if I use a double == it only works if I use a single =, but it doesn't populate the 2nd drop down correctly. It is as if it disregards what the raw value is and just populates the 2nd drop down with the information associated with the top selection with the drop down. So regardless if I choose Text 1 or Text 2 in my drop down I always get box 2a and 2b. Any ideas?!?var type = Contracttype.rawValuevar subtype = contractsubtype.rawValueif(...

This is what I am using on the button//Create a variable to hold the document objectvar oDoc = event.target;oDoc.mailDoc({bUI: true,cTo: "fninquiry@uillinois.edu",cSubject: Campus.rawValue + " - Voucher Payment Request - " + Name.rawValue,cMsg: "If you have any questions please contact Emily Lange"});What would I have to change to make it HTML? You also suggested that MAPI needs to be switched on. Is this something that the user can do? Or is this a global variable? Thanks!jodi

Hello!I have created a form in LiveCycle using an button that has Java on it to send an email. I believe it is Choice #4 on Paul's list of email options. When users with Eudora try to use the form it does nothing. The form will not send or anything. No error message either. Any idea what the problem is?Thanks!Jodi

Hi Srini - I lied - I have another question - I tried what you gave me but did it a little different and I am getting an error that says TodayDate has not properties. Thanks Srini! That is what I want to do. I have tables that I have simple FormCalc calculations on to total the fields. I want to then compare the totats of the fields to make sure they are equal. That is where I am using the if else statment with JavaScript. But for some reason it isn't working. It is the first part of my IF statement that doesn't do anything - when I go to the form and make them all equal I don't get the "boo" message (I am just trying to learn )thanks!Jodivar myDoc = event.targ...

Hey Paul,This is awesome! Question. I want to be able to mark an email as "rush" if a perticular date field is less than a week from today's date (the date I click the email button) I am thinking that I can use your last method of sending email where you fill in the blanks. But what I would do is hide them and have everying defaulted and have two subject lines and depending on the date field will depend on which subject line is shown. Problem is I don't know Java and I have no idea if this could...

I have a form with digital signatures. I understand that the digital signatures have a date on them but until we are fully electronic with the form some users may still print sign and date. With that said we will have a date field next to the signatures. Is there anyway to default the date field to whatever date the form was signed - to tie them together some way? If not is there anyway to make the date field not be less than today's date? That it can't be post dated? Thanks!Jodi

Is there anyway to modify this where if you have a checkbox marked RUSH - that it can put the word RUSH in the subject line?
