Re: How to identify which tag implementation (DTM or Launch) configured for a site. - Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection 25-10-2018
There's a few different things you could use. Personally I love ' _satellite.property.name ' because it returns the name of the Launch Property directly. However, just according to the official launch documentation, you could use _satellite.buildInfo ._satellite.buildInfo has various pieces of information within, and contains items specific to turbine.from: https://docs.adobelaunch.com/client-side-information/launch-object-reference Example Values{ turbineVersion: "14.0.0", turbineBuildDate: "201...

Re: Allow Launch Users to Copy Rules - Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection 23-10-2018
The copies act like completely new data elements. They should have different names like "DataElementName (Copy)". If you don't need these extra data elements anymore, you must ensure that they are not included in any libraries (check the 'Publishing' section) before you can actually delete the item. There are a few other feature ideas posted here that may help users identify where data elements are used when they are trying to delete them.Like this one: Simplify the flow for deleting rules/data e...

Re: Adobe Analytics Tableau Direct Connector - Adobe Analytics 22-10-2018
Any additional updates for this one? Also, with the introduction of the Analytics API 2.0 , will there be any guides to using that along with Tableau / R / SAS / etc? It would be really nice to have an official end-to-end example guide (extremely beneficial when trying to setup an initial proof-of-concept to sell to upper mgmt if 1st party or clients if 3rd party).

Re: Bring Adobe Analytics variable information into the Launch Adobe Analytics extension interface - Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection 18-10-2018
A property in Adobe Launch isn't directly tied to a single report suite like it was in DTM, so in order to do something like this - Adobe will have to have a report suite selector to know which labels to pull (or have you declare a 'primary report suite' for the extension, just for this UI purpose).

Re: End-to-end example of SPA based on Angular 2+ - Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection 17-10-2018
This link may help you get started, it's the Reference Architecture documents for Adobe Launch. It's worth bookmarking, covers the initial items for Launch, Analytics, and Target usually - been awhile since I reviewed them though.Link: Launch by Adobe Reference Architectures There's a basic example with Angular listed on there, here are the direct links:PDF (direct link): https://helpx.adobe.com/content/dam/help/en/experience-manager/kt/integration/using/launch-reference-architecture-guides…Refe...

Re: Allow Launch Users to Copy Rules - Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection 17-10-2018
They haven't 'removed' any features here compared to DTM, since Launch was built from the ground up. They just haven't built the feature in Adobe Launch yet. It's on the roadmap for a feature enhancement, and the last update I heard was a target of "this year."

Re: What is the best placement for the Adobe Launch tag? - Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection 02-10-2018
This is never a straightforward single answer, but it's generally accepted that the first approach would be to include the Data Layer in the , and the Adobe Launch later in the . In many cases, the Adobe Launch script will be one of the last things in the , and deployed in a synchronous manner (NOT async - but more on that later...).Then, of course you'll have the pagebottom script as the last possible thing in the .Then you get into more discussions based on your individual needs. How important...

Re: _satellite.track() and passing related information - Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection 02-10-2018
As AtulSingh mentioned above, you're getting [object Object] because the result is not a single string value, but rather an Object = { name: 'John Doe' }If you want to get the value 'John Doe' , you can use %event.detail.name% to retrieve the value of name.

Re: Circumvent IP block in Omniture to track one's own behavior? - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
One possible way you could achieve this without impacting your current setup is to use a Vista rule to route traffic from those company IPs into an internal report suite (as this would happen before your report suites exclude the data). A DB Vista Rule can be setup, and reference a table of IP Address ranges that you're able to update via FTP. We currently use DB Vista rules to route internal traffic to one report suite, and bots/aggregators into a different report suite as well. Simply excludin...

Re: Cookie (First Or Third) - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
You can use a browser plugin like firebug, or the dev tools to be able to view cookies for a given site. Depending on your implementation, you'll know which values to look for. In most modern cases; Go to the cookies tab and look for s_vi and s_fid and check their Domain. If that domain matches the domain for your site currently viewing, than it's a first party cookie being used. I don't work for UnderArmour (I purposefully chose a different company), but I've attached a screenshot to show they ...
