That was not my question.In order to save data i have to apply the form_fill_in extension i know.But i'm using form variables, that allow me to save text values without them being in the DOM tree.This works, but i can only get this to work if i apply the import/export extension and i don't belive this is the most correct way to go.

Hi,I'm using a form that uses form variables to save some infomation about the previous action performed in the document.It works fine, but in order for this information to be saved on the PDF (if the PDF is closed) and then available when it is opened again i have to have the import / export extension on the form.Is there any other way to do this?

You should change the language from FormCalc to JavaScript on the Scripting Pane.

You either use multiple print commands (has showed by the previous posters) or you create visible print only "copies" of the pages you want to print twice in your form. This does the trick but requeries a bit of work and will make your PDF bigger (disk size).

If the PDF is opened in browser it won't close by script, it will give an error, also, if your PDF is not interactive or the Reader has Javascript turned off it won't close either.

If you want to insert pages, then you should do something like this (after filling in all the form data the end user wants): - flatten PDF (Output ES) - insert pages (Acrobat) - Sign & Certify (Acrobat)If all you want is to attach files you don't need to flat your PDF and can go right to Signing your PDF with Acrobat.If you users don't have Acrobat then you'll need Reader Extensions (to enable the PDF to be signed) and Digital Signatures (to add digital signature fields to the PDF IF and only IF...

There are lots of ways, Paul presented the best of them.What you want to do isn't near the standard signed document workflow.Non-repudiation and changes apart, a Digital Signature represents a sign of acceptance of the content of the document. To flatten a PDF is to transform a interactive PDF into a non-interactive PDF.If, in your process, after you've inserted all the information you wanted in your form, you transform your Interactive PDF in a flat PDF you'll be able to insert and extract pages in Adobe Pro (or other versions).This operation existes in the Output ES module.
