Hi @kandersen

Sorry for the delayed response.

The RT-CDP Business Practitioner exam covers questions from various modules, which you can find detailed here: RT-CDP Business Practitioner Exam Guide.

I had previously mentioned this in our earlier discussion, but to clarify:

Section 1: Segments and Activation (32%)

  • Create segments and activate them to destinations
  • Configure new destinations
  • Apply concepts needed to target identities in destinations
  • Identify attribute mappings and schedule segments for destination

Section 2: Privacy and Data Governance (20%)

  • Understand DULE policies and their impact on data availability at destinations
  • Ensure adherence to privacy and data compliance measures

Section 3: Business Analysis (30%)

  • Identify use cases aligned with business KPIs
  • Perform data analysis on customer segments within the platform
  • Demonstrate an understanding of data flow concepts

Section 4: Schemas and Profiles (18%)

  • Demonstrate an understanding of Adobe Experience Platform concepts
  • Utilize profile features

The majority of the questions I've been asking revolve around these modules to help you focus your preparation effectively. Many of the questions related to destinations are at the recall level, so please ensure you are familiar with the identities required for activation, particularly for social channels like LinkedIn and Facebook.

Thank you, and I hope this helps with your preparation.

Hello Everyone,

This is the weekly quiz for RTCDP MP 24 - Quiz 3.

This quiz includes several questions on topics that every business practitioner should be familiar with:

  1. You want to create an audience of customers who added a product to their cart but did not complete the purchase. What is this type of audience called?

  2. Where can you receive alerts when an error occurs while ingesting data from a source connection? How can you activate these alerts?

  3. What is suppression and cross-sell/upsell in marketing? (Note: This is not directly related to RTCDP but is important for a business practitioner to know.)

  4. A batch segment was created around 6 AM, but after 12 hours, the number of qualified profiles is still zero. What could be the reason for this?

  5. Six segment export jobs are scheduled to run, pushing files to an S3 destination. How many dataflow runs will be visible in the UI?

  6. An Adobe Real-Time CDP Business Practitioner wants to forward raw website events to an analytics destination in real time, rather than sending a segment using a cookie identifier. Which type of destination should the practitioner use?

  7. Due to some issues in the source system, unwanted profiles were added to the CDP, increasing the number of profiles. It was suggested to delete these profiles using the privacy service. Is this the recommended approach?

Please share your responses in the comments below.

Thanks,
Arpan Garg

  1. You want to create an audience of customers who added a product to their cart but did not complete the purchase. What is this type of audience called?
    sequential audience

  2. Where can you receive alerts when an error occurs while ingesting data from a source connection? How can you activate these alerts?
You can see alerts under the Bell icon and can manage/activate alerts under the Alerts UI in the left hand menu.

  3. What is suppression and cross-sell/upsell in marketing? (Note: This is not directly related to RTCDP but is important for a business practitioner to know.)

Suppression in marketing refers to the practice of deliberately excluding certain individuals or groups from a marketing campaign.

Cross-Sell and Upsell are strategies used to increase the value of a customer by offering additional or higher-value products.

It happens if you have ingested data in profile-enabled datasets

1. You want to create an audience of customers who added a product to their cart but did not complete the purchase. What is this type of audience called?
Sequential Audience is an audience that has performed actions in a certain order within a certain amount of time. Hence, it would be categorized as Sequential Audience.

2. Where can you receive alerts when an error occurs while ingesting data from a source connection? How can you activate these alerts?
Alerts are visible on pressing Bell icon, and we can manage/activate alerts in Alerts UI.

3. What is suppression and cross-sell/upsell in marketing? (Note: This is not directly related to RTCDP but is important for a business practitioner to know.)
Suppression is hiding certain products from a set of audience.
Cross-Sell/Upsell is suggesting different but related items (e.g. selling Refrigerator Stand with Refrigerator)/suggesting higher capacity version of same item (e.g. selling 400 litre refrigerator when customer is actually looking for 350 litre version)

4. A batch segment was created around 6 AM, but after 12 hours, the number of qualified profiles is still zero. What could be the reason for this?
It happens if you have ingested data in profile-enabled datasets
source: https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-platform/qualified-profiles-count-...

5. Six segment export jobs are scheduled to run, pushing files to an S3 destination. How many dataflow runs will be visible in the UI?
One Dataflow assuming they are scheduled at same time.

6. An Adobe Real-Time CDP Business Practitioner wants to forward raw website events to an analytics destination in real time, rather than sending a segment using a cookie identifier. Which type of destination should the practitioner use?
Streaming Destination

7. Due to some issues in the source system, unwanted profiles were added to the CDP, increasing the number of profiles. It was suggested to delete these profiles using the privacy service. Is this the recommended approach?
Privacy Service is meant to help you manage customer data requests specifically. Meaning it is meant to handle compliance with legal and organizational privacy regulations only. This should not be a recommended approach, rather take batch deletion approach.

Hi @vivektripathi  - Your answers are correct. For question 6 where raw events needs to be sent in real time instead of using destination connection we can use destination extensions as well.

Extensions are generally used when we want to forward the raw events directly.

Thanks,

Arpan

Hi @kandersen,

Apologies for the delayed response—I was on vacation. For any questions related to RTCDP, I always turn to the community as my go-to resource. I began as a learner myself about two years ago.

When I need precise answers, I typically refer to the documentation on Adobe's website. I also follow insights from @abhinavbalooni , @Kumar_Saurabh_ and @Anil_Umachigi

Thanks,
Arpan
