Create exclusion list in the CDP

Avatar

Level 2

Hi

I wanted to ask if there's a way to create an exclusion list of users in the CDP who are not activated to any available destinations. I know that I could create an exclusion list audience and apply a "not in this audience" rule for all audiences I create. But I just wanted to know if there's a better way to do that.

I've seen that I can apply usage policies to audiences to prevent them from being exported. However, if the users from the labeled audience belong to another segment, nothing is going to prevent them from being exported to any destination. For this case, it would be more about excluding a group of users from being exported to any destination.

Thanks

Renato

Hi @RenatoZu ,

Your first option is already is a good idea. I am wondering if you see any issue in that? Thanks!

Hi @Sukrity_Wadhwa  @Abie

I want to create an audience that contains profiles I don't want to send to any destination—users that shouldn't be activated to any of the destinations. To accomplish this, the only way is to create the audience to activate and then add the exclusion audience with the 'exclude this audience' rule. However, this process is very manual and would need to be repeated each time I create an audience. I want to make it more automatic, where I only create the exclusion audience and it's automatically detected that users belonging to that audience should not be activated no any destination, or a selected group of destinations.

Thank you,
Renato
