Hi all,
we would like to create a cart abandonment email that shall be triggered from RT-CDP to Campaign v8 if the user started the checkout (commerce.checkouts event) but did not purchase (commerce.purchases) within x minutes.
So far, the audience definition is straight forward and also shows profiles qualified for it.
Now, we could like to send an email out to the cart abandoner. Since the audience contains Profile information but not Experience Event data from the checkout event, what is the best approach to get this crucial data over to v8?
Also, the Campaign destinations all seem to work as batch exports with a minimum frequency of 3 hours. Is there any way to stream this information as soon as a Profile newly qualifies for the audience?

Hello @bjoern__koth ,
Just apart of this way: Did you think to use pipeline event in Adobe campaign ?
This is designed for this type of use case, I have implement this on multiple clients.

Hi @Parvesh_Parmar,
thx for the info, will have a look at it. The documentation is for v7, do you know if the same applies for v8?
Do you have any further information or tutorials for that specific use case?
Since we also have Launch server-side, I was initially thinking of a streaming API call of the checkout XDM in combination with the CDP streaming segment and let Campaign combine this information.
Tbh, feels like this is one of the reasons you have AJO these days 😝
Hi @bjoern__koth It works in V8 as well, we have implemented this as almost same as instructed in V7 doc.
Create the Adobe trigger rules, set the pipeline event, this will reach to Adobe Campaign V8 to trigger the communication, we are seeing 5 to 10 min gap delay on this.
Yes, AJO would be a easy going and better controls 🙂
Thanks,
Bala
Cool, will have a closer look at it!
thanks a lot guys!
@Parvesh_Parmar , @Imbalakumar can it be that the trigger approach requires Adobe Analytics (which we don't have)?
Our goal is anintegration that uses the out of the box tools for a close-to-realtime activation in v8. Any kind of dataset export to v8 seems to be running on a batch as far as I have seen.
