Journey Orchestration

I have a use case where I need to grab the data from two different events to form the journey. Can any one please suggest how I can bind the two events in journey Orchestration.

I have created a Journey, and to test it I pass parameters through Code mode, however, while passing value it shows Event run successfully but Event Log shows/reflect nothing. Kindly suggest whats the correct process to do this.
