Welcome email to be received only once

Hi all,

if we want to send an email only once to a user being part of a segment (only the first email will be a welcome, then he will receive other communications) allow re-entrance disabled is not the right way i suppose.

how could we do? we can use a param in the condition to check if he entered the journey and already received the mail?

thanks

We have frequency rules that can be leveraged for this

Other option is to leverage business rules for frequency or suppression logic.

You can also explore creating a batch segment leveraging the attributes from message feedback event schema and accordingly suppress it, within the journey. This schema / dataset contains the message delivery logs.
