What is the difference between the "reuse content" and "snippets" panels?

Hi Chad,

As I understand it, a snippet is a template for a smaller element in DITA. For example, a complex table structure that you use often can be defined as a snippet, or a common note. The snippet does not insert a conref, it inserts a copy of the item you have defined as a snippet. When you insert reusable content, this inserts a conref of the reusable item you select.
