Editing Data Elements - Indicate where it is being used within DTM

PROBLEM

When editing a Data Element, there is not indication of where it is being used within DTM. 

 

SUGGESTED SOLUTION

On the edit screen for a Data Element, system will indicate (and link to) DTM rules, tools, etc where the Data Element is being used.

 

This is somewhat related to my other suggestion about changing the name of a Data Element everywhere it is used in DTM, when the name has been changed in the Data Element edit screen.

This is one of the biggest gripes for me at the moment when reviewing an old DTM implementation. Trying to clean up data element that are no longer in use is very time consuming when you dont know where it is being used as each rule would need to be checked.

 

It would also be useful when edits to a direct call rule are being made to check that no adverse impact was casued as a result of the edit.
