Hi,
We used Adobe Target to set up and run AB/ MVT tests through the Visual editor and through form based tests. We use another companies software to replay user sessions and I wondered if there was any way of identifying which experience a customer had been entered into by looking at the cookie values?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Peter and Parit,
Do I understand your request correct, if I say you want to set a flag in your session-recording software, to tell you what experience the user saw?
Now I don't know how you can pass information to that system, but I guess cookies are an option since you mention them yourself? As far as I know, Target does not store such information in a cookie on users devices. If you want a cookie, you would need to add some custom code to each experience and campaign, setting a cookie with the required information. Not an optimal way, but the only way I can think of...
Let me know if you find something better or if the above solution works?

Hi Peter,
Instead of using the cookie value we would recommend to use the custom javascript code to identify which experience a customer has been entered into in an A/B or MVT test.
Please see the following link for more information:How can i get the ID or title of the current exprience in the page where is tested?
Løjmann Do you have any other suggestion for peter ?
