Can I populate Category Affinity in a normal mbox? Løjmann - Adobe Target
Hi,We don't have Recommendations but Target Standard. I'd like to use the Category Affinity algoritme, and are sending in product category as you can see in the request example below. However, setting up an XT activity using a audience where I uses the Category Affinity doesn't put me into the activity.I'm wondering if the Category Affinity only works with a product-collector mbox or if I can use the global?Hope someone can clarify this to me /Løjmann

Re: Visitors without account Løjmann - Adobe Analytics
Hi Mario,I would properly use a VISITOR container, as a user/cookie may be logged in at some time and not sometime later in another visit... If you then use a VISITOR container, and exclude any VISITORS who at some time was logged in, then you get what you are looking for.Hope this helps?/Løjmann

Re: Experience Target Activity based on Domain Name not ReTargeting Løjmann - Adobe Target
Hi,Isn't it just because, the user are captured in one experience, until he/she convert (those settings can be customised per experiment). Now I don't know how you have setup your audience, could it be that you only target them if their landing page has the qualifying query string etc., and therefore you limit yourself when changing network?Share some dumps of your audience, and I'm happy to look into it /Løjmann

Re: Calculating a Mean Value on Dimension Values Løjmann - Adobe Analytics
Hi Mario,You can't use a dimensions value as part of a calculated metric, instead you can change your implementation to set the value of the dimension to a custom event as well, and the use that event to make your calculations on./Løjmann

Re: Adobe target backup Løjmann - Adobe Target
Hi Veera,There are no such function in Target for users to make backups. I guess a workaround would be if you setup all your experiences up via the custom code editor, then you can store txt-files locally, but in a busy organisation it would not work, and most don't setup all experiences up only using the custom code editor...I can't say how Adobe do their backups, but I won't doubt that my data and experiences are in a safe place there /Løjmann

Re: Using cookie values to identify a Target test experience Løjmann - Adobe Target
Hi Peter and Parit,Do I understand your request correct, if I say you want to set a flag in your session-recording software, to tell you what experience the user saw?Now I don't know how you can pass information to that system, but I guess cookies are an option since you mention them yourself? As far as I know, Target does not store such information in a cookie on users devices. If you want a cookie, you would need to add some custom code to each experience and campaign, setting a cookie with th...

Re: How can i get the ID or title of the current exprience in the page where is tested? Løjmann - Adobe Target
What do you think of here? Do you want the offer name and conversion measure, into JS?As far as I know, you can't get the conversion points in (that is taking measure server-side), the only campaign related variables you can fetch are:campaign.namecampaign.idcampaign.recipe.namecampaign.recipe.idoffer.nameoffer.id/Løjmann

Hi,You can print those information by writing {campaign.name} or {campaign.id} as part of the HTML/JS returned in an experiment. See the full list of parameters here: Useful Variables, Profiles, Parameters, and Methods /Løjmann

Re: Is this a good use case for eVars? Løjmann - Adobe Analytics
Yes, the s.tl() function are a link-tracking call (not incrementing page view) and s.t() is a page-view tracking call (incrementing the page view metric)./Løjmann

Re: How to create a target audience based on Adobe Analytics data? Løjmann - Adobe Target
Hi,Getting Audience Manager would help you, but it also requires that you purchase it - so lets look for what else you can to.You could use Experience Cloud Audience (see Audience creation options in Adobe Experience Cloud ) if it has to be based on Analytics data. Now I don't know the details to your implementation and what your specific criteria are, but let's say you want to target a user who has performed action X, Y and did see page Z. In that case, you could use the Target Profile, setting ...

Re: Is this a good use case for eVars? Løjmann - Adobe Analytics
Hi,You won't need an event to see data populated to en eVar.But depending on what you need to see, you have a few different options.1) Just a total of all widgets - use en event (eventX=8 for example, if 8 widgets was seen/used at the same time)2) A row of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc... use the eVar as you saidYou can of cause also do both Hope this makes sense?/Løjmann

Re: Clickstream data feed into database Løjmann - Adobe Analytics
The key depends of what you have in the other dataser to match it with. You may have a login ID or similar, that are used across platforms? The visid-fields are the old-school visitor ID's, use the experience cloud ID instead in case you need the visitor ID./Løjmann

Okay, then the implementation sounds good... What data does the eVar contains? Don't you think, it is simply because the eVar have had the same value multiple times when the button has been clicked?/Løjmann

Re: Single Page Visits vs. Visit Depth: where is the difference coming from? Løjmann - Adobe Analytics
Hi,If you just want the share of single page visits, then I would create a calculated metric, using this formular: single page visits / visitsYou will have to set it up as a percentage, but then you have your number.... or do I misunderstand your requirement?/Løjmann

Re: Route to RSID based on IP Løjmann - Adobe Analytics
You can do in AppMeasurement or DTM, as long as you have the IP available for example as part of the data layer. Then you can write a if/else statement the change the RSID depending of the IP.If you just collect the IP to an eVar or prop, you can setup a Virtual ReportSuite (for free) filtering internal traffic out (or only showing internal traffic). However, it won't work if you exclude the IP's already on the Report Suite.../Løjmann

Hi,I don't see why it would record the event multiple times. Could you try to write the value of s.events to the console, before the tracking request are fired?Do you have any processing rule, that could affect the count?/Løjmann

Re: Best option for building an A/B test using HTML? Løjmann - Adobe Target
Hi,Are you more or less rebuilding the page tested, then I would create the new page in your CMS and then create a redirect-offer as experience B in Target. Rebuilding a full page or large part of your structure in Target isn't recommended, too many things can go wrong...If it is minor changes, you could consider to use the custom code editor, and write CSS/JS to make your changes./Løjmann

Re: Image request show Event is fired 1 time, but report display 7 times Løjmann - Adobe Analytics
Please share your code/image request or even better, the URL where the tracking are fired from... That would make it easier...You can set the event one time in the code like this (event1=6) and then it would actually count 6 times in Analytics.../Løjmann

Re: Disable the out of box attributes from being captured in Analytics Report Løjmann - Adobe Analytics
As Saurabh says, you can't disable it but you can chose to hide them in your menu. However, that won't hide all of them in Workspace etc...Most of those send on the image request, you could actually flush them in doPlugins just before the server call are generated. However, you can't flush all and I think it is a little shaky solution...What are you trying to archive and why don't you want those out of the box variables set?The best solution would properly be to engage with Engineering Services,...

Hi,I agrees with Tanmay, unless you are 100% sure that prop1 in RS1 won't have same values as prop3 in RS2, and the same the other way around. However, I think that is a risky way of doing it, of cause depending on your business - but you could setup a segment looking at both variables and then use across.../Løjmann

Re: The cost difference between s.t vs s.tl calls? Løjmann - Adobe Analytics
Hi Dani, As Hyder says, s.t and s.tl calls are billed the same. They are billed as primary server calls, at the price you have agreed with Adobe. This is the way, when you send data to 1 (one) report suite. If you send data to 2 suites, let's say you have a global and a local suite, then for each server call you are doing you are paying 1 primary and 1 secondary. The only time, where prices changes, are if you exceed your contract and use more server calls than you have paid for. I don't remember...
