Hi,
Let us say I integrated AEM with Adobe Target for A/B Testing.
When I wanted to create a different experience based on a query parameter, I specify the URL of the AEM page and that page becomes available in Target.
Changes could be made on this copy for creating a different experience.
1. How this is achieved?
2. Is a copy of that HTML made available in Target as its own copy? After all, the source is not disturbed at all!
3. Where is it stored in Target?
4. After this copy is made available to Target, if changes are done on the same page in AEM, how the synchronization is affected?
Appreciate all your responses.
Thanks,
Rama.

Hi Rama,
If you have Target implemented on pages that are created with AEM, and you load those pages in the Target UI to compose a test experience then in response:
It sounds like the page is published and created in AEM - if that is the case, you do not need to create a query parameter to tell Target to change the content. Target will read the AEM page so long as there is a global mbox using at.js. A parameter is not required. Target will keep the version of that experience in Target. All experiences are specific to Target, meaning that you are not creating the experience in AEM, unless you happen to be using the Target/AEM integration, in which case, you can follow the AEM workflow outlined in the reference...
Hope this is helpful!
