Yes, the mbox.js has been deprecated. To fire a custom mbox location with at.js 2.x you will want to use the new getOffers() function. Details can be found here: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/target/using/implement-target/client-side/at-js-implementation/functions-overview/adobe-target-getoffers-atjs-2.html?lang=en

Yes, if you use the visual experience composer to setup the activity you need the target-global-mbox request to be made. Make sure the page load/auto created mbox is enabled and download your at.js after that is set.

Hi @jsolano918,Yes, you can do that! If it's easier for you to implement a custom mbox across those 50 product pages than to write a refinement rule to address those pages that's a totally viable solution with Adobe Target. I'd just give the mbox a name that is meaningful and helps the person setting up the test/activity to understand where it applies to.

Ah, looking closer at your screen shot of your getOffers() it does appear like you have an extra space in the "productPurchasedId" key name. Can you double check that and try it without a trailing space?

Hi @carlosvelarde,Your implementation looks to be fine. However, the reporting it sounds like you want to do is beyond Target reports. The passing of the productPurchasedId is for 2 main purposes in Target. 1) For informing Recommendations about specific entity/products getting purchased - to enable our purchase based algorithms. 2) To provide helpful information in the order details report download. I theory, if you downloaded the order details CSV you could determine the answer you are asking:...

Yes the mbox name can be whatever you choose. The key part is really just the profile parameter name and values because you'll be using those in the Audience definition. You don't really need to reference the mbox name so I tend to use something generic like 'dataCapture' in these cases.

Got it. Thanks for clarifying. To change or update how the recommendations look that Target returns, you need to modify your Design. Which it looks like you were attempting from your earlier screen shot. Here's a simple HTML design you could use to get a single result from your criteria and display a thumbnail, name, id and message (updated via feed or otherwise): $entity1.name $entity1.id $entity1.message

Hi @jaredho, It depends a little. If you are using Target as your reporting source and your goal metric is set to viewed an mbox > ** display mboxes ** then changing the advanced settings to increment count, release user & bar from reentry would work as @mikewebguy suggested. It is super easy to setup too. However, it limits your ability to see conversions that happen later on in the session. It also isn't an option if you're using Analytics for Target (A4T) reporting. One way to handle in these...

Hi @1982luca, I'm not following your question. Can you clarify where the "answer" you are seeing is coming from. When you say how can I add entity element to my JSON, which element or attribute are you referring to? Any single-value attribute sent to Target for an entity can be used in a design.Looking forward to your clarification to see if I can help better.

Hi @1982luca,The help section has a special page on limits of various parameters and attributes for Target. Entity.ids are limited to 1000 characters. However, in practice it is more convenient to keep the entity.id's to around 50 characters or less because they are easier to view in the UI (not truncated) and easier to work with in the Recommendations data CSV downloads for an activity that you might use for troubleshooting.

Hi @Sundhara,I presume you used the test-duration calculator to determine how long the test should be run, and you are wondering if statistically speaking if letting it run longer is going to compromise the statistical calculations. I think the "days" measure is the less important measure of duration. The more important ones from a stats perspective are total visitors and total conversions per experience. So in short, I'd say yes, run it until you reach the pre-determined per experience visitor ...

Hi @KeithF53,Two+ users on a single device and therefore same Target profile can be a little tricky as your noticing. Profile parameters (the stuff under "visitor profile" when setting up audiences) are sticky to the profile and can't be "cleared" like your wondering about. They can be updated/overwritten though. Alternatively, you could target off of mbox parameters (aka custom parameters). These parameters are unique in that they do not persist. They are only used for that request and then are...

Hey @LordOfTheRings,I'm sure you already know the top recommendation: Fix the customer attributes data file so it doesn't have the double quotes surrounding the ids.In help for ECID and Customer IDs the docs do say to NOT use encoded values in your ids (within the "important" section). Which I guess you are still okay on since your just escaping the quotes. If you are not using the visitor.setCustomerIds() method, but the alternative method of directly passing the customer ID to Target as the th...

I'd think you could add a rule in Launch to fire the trigger view on page load if some condition exists (e.g., a hash value is in the url). I've done something similar with JS on the page. Here's my sample code if it is helpful: //add triggerview function triggerView(viewName) { // Validate if the Target Libraries are available on your website if (typeof adobe.target.triggerView === 'function') { adobe.target.triggerView(viewName); console.log('AT: View triggered on page load: '+viewName); } else { console.log('AT: triggerView or adobe.target not available but viewName was: '+viewName); } } //fire triggerView when the SPA loads and when the hash changes in the SPA if(window.location.hash.indexOf('mySPAhashValue') >-1){ triggerView(location.hash); } window.onhashchange = function() { if(window.location.pathname.indexOf('/mySPApath/') >-1){ triggerView(location.hash); } }

You need to pass the cookie value to Target as a custom parameter. Using the targetPageParams() function is a great way to do this for a client-side at.js implementation of Target. Then you can setup an audience rule that checks against the custom parameter you are passing into Target.

Hi @jasmib25972844,That's a good question. I know in general the design limit on recommendations results is 99. However, it could be true that "recently viewed" results could be lower then that. Since we have to keep a list of all the recently viewed in a visitor's profile it makes sense it might be limited to something less than 99 perhaps to ~40.

If you are using the Visual Experience Composer (VEC) you shouldn't need "regional" mboxes. If using the form composer, and if you are running tests/activities on native mobile apps, server-side, or other IOT then you'll want to use custom locations (aka regional mboxes). That's at least one perspective on when to use global vs regional mboxes. Hope it helps.

I haven't seen it done exactly has you've described. However, it isn't super uncommon to use other API's for helping get the meta data needed to render the recommendations on pages. I know several clients that just return a list of the ids to recommend from Target and then use that list to call other APIs. In that case they use their own code to render the recommendations. This can be helpful for highly dynamic sites and attributes - like a product price is dependent on various factors.

Hi @antoniomillan,Sorry you're having a problem with that. I don't know what those reference IDs are, but they do not appear to be activity ids. I'd recommend trying this:Browse to criteria (Target > Recommendations > Criteria)Find the criteria you'd like to deleteClick the "i" (info icon)Click the "Algorithm Usage" at the top of the info windowThat should give you a list of activities where that criteria is being used. If you delete those activities you should then be able to delete the criteri...

Ah...so AT: Failed actions often means there is an error in the JS. Reviewing my sample above I see the error. I didn't put quotes around the category affinity. I've correct the original response.

Hi @amberb67455123,Are you trying to get a visitor's category affinity value back to the page so you can run some client-side JS with it? If that is what you are trying to do you can create a custom modification offer in the VEC that writes a script back to the page and sets the category affinity value to some JS variable. To write Target profile values into experience content/offers see this help doc: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/target/using/experiences/offers/passing-profile-attrib...

Hi @akma1991,Generally speaking, the visitorAPI.js generates an SDID when the at.js fires a request from the page. So yes, a webview that has both the visitorAPI.js and at.js deployed properly and in order should have the SDID for reporting on any Target activities that fire on the webview.

Hi @YT_Tsutsui,This is a great question. Using Automated-Personalization/Auto-Target is powerful, but can certainly take some tuning and adjusting to get right. I like to frame the setup of these ML/AI activities like so:Consider the different persona's or segments that would be coming to your site to convert. Often products or categories is a useful way to think about the different personas. For example, for a banking site:Customer interested in checkingCustomers interested in home loansCustome...

Hi @meirotstein2,I don't believe such an API exists. I think your best bet might be to load the Response Tokens page (Adobe Target > Administration > Response tokens) and increase the items per page to max and then copy the data from the page. As response tokens do not change frequently this might be a feasible solution for you. You can also see the status and just use the "activated" response tokens if you want.I suppose you could try and manually call the graphql POST request the page makes to...

I was going to suggest you could create a segment where "activity conversions" exists and then put it on top of a unique visitor metric. However, it doesn't look like "activity conversions" is able to be used in a segment only native AA metrics are I guess. Are you suspicious that some visitors repeat the conversion step a lot? You could try using different baselines to determine this. Like activity conversion per visit. Or per page view.
