When opening a policy protected file, are the Autosave-File and Temp-Files also encrypted?

Hi, when opening / editing a policy proteced (e.g. a MS Word doc or docx file), are the Autosave-File and Temp-Files also encrypted?

Encrypted files are not stored in an unencrypted form on the user's disk at any time.
