Submit/post complete Interactive PDF to a service

Avatar

Level 4

Hi!,

We are developing a new solution where we need to post/submit a complete Interactive PDF to a service. It is the xfa pdf we need to get to the service. We need to extract data and make a flat version of the PDF and will achieve PDF with data as metadata. (call to other webserivce)

The PDF forms are created in LiveCycle designer. The user will open PDF form from file system in adobe reader and click button to submit/post. Must be complete PDF that is sent/submitted to a LiveCycle service or to .Net/Java service that calls Adobe LiveCycle.

(Have read about submit to Java servlet, but need more specifik information acording to our usecase)

Products/modules we have:

-      Reader Extensions

-      Adobe LC ES2 (  NOT USING workspace/process management )

-      Can code .Net service (prefered) or Java service

How can this be done in the best way?? We really need your great answers to build a nice prototype and show the customer that PDF can be used for this.

Thanks in advance – and great weekend
