During the beta period what are the limits on usage in terms of group size. Also do you have an estimated beta->open date. Also I am assuming the prices will be cheaper than with connect pro.
Also, I would like to know if it would be possible to record some of the webcam sessions to my own server. I have an fms account with another provider, which I pay quite a bit for, so it would be more practical if I could use their services to record and stream later on. And finally is there a way I could just host the whole thing myself?

There are three tabs on the bottom of the labs page -- http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/afcs/. They are Getting Started, Community, and Product Details. Click on Product Details.
Thanks,

Hi Daminee,
The beta quota levels are displayed in our labs page, under the Product Details tab. As for an estimated/open date, I can confirm that we are working on it, but I can't divulge the date.
Recording and playback is a feature that our development team is working on and it is on our roadmap.
Finally, as for hosting it yourself, please see this thread here -- http://forums.adobe.com/message/1010622#1010622
Thanks,
Fang
Dear Fang,
Thank you for your message in this forum.
We are building a virtual event platforma and plan to run an online show using Adobe Chat APIs. We expect around 100 concurrent users. I have sent an email along with 2 reminders at the email address mentioned here http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/afcs/ telling exactly what we plan to do and requesting to exceed the quota for us.
Would appreciate if you could respond to that.
Thanks,
