Number & Text format question

Avatar

Level 4

I have a form that I need the user to type in a series of numbers & text. When they tab away from the field I want the format to be 21:846=ND.F

Do I need to do something in Java Script or how else would I make this happen? Thanks

Then you wil want to set a display pattern like this:

text{99':'999'='AA.A}

You can use a pattern to display the information in the format that you want. Will the format always be 2 numbers:3numbers = two letters.one letter?

Great Thanks! Is there any way to make the last 3 letters capital?

You would have to use javascript for that. You would have to parse the input and upper case them for the user.
