New user wants to know about the basics

Hi All,

I have Designer 8.0 that came with other software and I haven't used it yet.

I would like to create a form that I can use on my website. I'm not a software coding person, so dreamweaver coding is not an option, though I'm told that is the way to go - php, java script...etc.

This form will list several classes that we offer along with options for scheduling that the user can fill in to suits their needs.

I believe I can edit some existing 'sample' forms to make it work for me.

My questions:

1.) First off, What are the most common uses for this software? (I got it in a bundle pkg and have not used it yet)

2.) Can I legally use the "sample" forms for my website?

3.) Is there a tutorial about making the neccessary links to and from a form for website use?

Ps. It's not that I haven't tried LC but when I did and sent myself a form that I filled in, It came back to me, but not as a form.

It was all Somthing>Hey!<Something else

I just figured I'd get help first before I put too much into creating a form only to have it fail in translation.

Plus, I'd still like to know how other people use this software.
